Mate, good vid, trying to find an answer to wether you can get the bikes dashboard into the carpuride screen,as the chigeeAO15 for bmw. I have a 2014 r1200gs with analog speedo, would like to use a larger digital. cheers
I have a AGV sportmodular its crazy light but I need a new helmet. It doesn't come around and squeeze the cheeks but the latch release button broke and they dont support parts. Im thinking about giving this a try
Having recently purchased a '23 XE, the rebound in the rear is very slow, even full open. I find it interesting that Joey adjusts clickers but doesn't compress the suspension to check for motion, AKA Dave Moss style. My forks rebound and settle but the rear slowly travels up, definite mismatch front and rear.
@@stags-gr8to Ah yes. That is something that came on the bike, I am not sure if the prior owner added it, but I have seen new bikes come with it as well. I am not sure exactly what it does but it most likely braces the center stand.
@@BackDraftBikes Oh okay. I have a 2020 GS which I bought new and I don't have that. I just asked because my centre stand is looking a bit rusty so I was just trying to get some information if the item as to whether this attachment was meant to protect the stand..............I'll do some more investigation! Thanks for getting back to me😊
Just so people don’t get the wrong impression about this bike or be confused by some of his comment Ms about not wanting to take the bike in serious off road or rocky sections. Its max tor torque comes in at 3950 HP at 7400. Its torque comes in lower than any adv bike by far and the HP close to being the lowest hp in terms of rpms
you were not prepared or informed before you did your review. it also seems like you never road a Harley because a couple of times you made references of sport bikes. First of all nothing wrong with the brakes the bike is heavy but not for a Harley. Second the standard windscreen is supposed to give you the effect of wind in your face and only be effected in the chest area. Harley makes a Taller windscreen if you choose to have additional wind protection . Steering heavy compared to what. your rating is off the charts nowhere near credible or close being a six. Id give a 8.5 as delivered then rate it higher when i make the adjustment that suit me not against the bike as you put it. You rated one of Harleys greatest attempt to put soft tail styling with lighter weight and handling. They hit this out of the park. check your tires and references before you become a critic. my Rating for you is off the chart SUCKS. Im saying all this because this is a great bike and i would hate that anyone would take your advise on a bike that most people would really like.
Oh, you were talking about riding in the north vs the south, You are correct in all your thoughts. In Montana my home, I would ride routinely 300 to 500 miles a ride. Living now in South Ga, I rarely ride in the summer due to extreme heat and prefer the winter to get out.
Yes that was one long trip, didn't envy you in Florida with the heat. Hopefully when you've cleaned the bike there'll be no more of those googgly eyes to surprise you.
Thanks for sharing. I recently traded my Mt07 for a Tracer 9 GT and am planning a motorcycle trip. The New River Gorge National Park is amazing. I camped there with my son at the end of the pandemic, and it's a beautiful memory. Ride safe!
I like the idea of it, but I think I would like to see it like in a store or something where they're pre-installed on a helmet. So that way you could pop a helmet on and try it for yourself before making a purchase to see if you liked it. Again it is a really cool idea, be awesome if they partnered with Garmin so that way you always had gps
My go pro is getting 80% sky and 20% bike/road. What’s the best position to put the camera for perfect forward video. I have my mount on the chin where you said but I keep trying to switch from up right to upside down and I can’t tell how to make it look down if that makes any sense. Please help lol.
setup your phone with the app, and then use it to position your camera. Typically the top of the camera will touch the edge of the helmet. It's all a game of trying until you can get it to work!
Very cool! I just inherented my dad's 74 last week. His is black, but it only has 5880 miles, he changed the seat and handlebars but otherwise completely original too. I'd love any tips on rebuilding the caliper and master cylinder
Im glad i came across this. i got the impression that the display was projected on the windscreen. The time it takes for you to take your eyes off the road could cost you more than 550.00.
Good insight on most of it however you didn't really cover the rear camera as much. I'd recommend altering the vid with maybe going over the quality of that in day/night and maybe inclement weather. Nice review in all tho brotha
How good is it in the direct sunlight? I have a cheaper 5” CarPlay device but it’s super hard to see when the sun is shining on it, which is only a real problem when using waze or any navigation app. Tbf my iPhone 12 Pro Max screen can be hard to see in direct sunlight too. This device looks brighter than mine but if it’s still not readable in direct sunlight then I’ll just deal with what I have now. Thx in advance.
Any bike will have problems if you abuse it , I had a 1200 lc for five years and not a single thing wrong after 30000 miles and now just got a brand new trophy . My friend has done 38000 miles in 3 years on his 1250 and even crashed it and still not a single thing wrong with it , picked it up and not a mark on it and it still looks and runs like new , don’t believe people who like to rubbish these bikes , most of them have never had one
I'm curious about how well people with prescription lenses will be able to see the screen, especially older riders who may lack close vision. Is it possible to adjust focus to individual eyes?
People wearing prescription glasses can use MOTOEYE normally. Its display module is outside your prescription glasses, and you can see it like normal road conditions. You can see the HUD image with just a slight lift of your eyes. Don't worry too much about focusing, as it is a See Through display module that allows you to easily see the content outdoors.
