What screen protector do you recommend? I have just got a air 13" and i dont know what screen protector to get that works best for drawing. Any tips and advice would be very welcome 😁
Can these brushes be used with the Apple Pencil 2 or just with the new Apple Pencil Pro? I don't want to have to buy a new iPad and pencil since I just got mine a few months ago (before the new one came out)
The iPad Air 6 gets the same amount of layers as my iPad Air 5. I have the new pro. I was thinking of getting a new air. Just checked the same dimensions and even 300 dpi, I get the same as the air 6 in this video on my air 5. Nice video regardless ! I love the look and edits in your video!
I really love the nano texture, but I will caution when I was reviewing it in the Apple Store I noticed it was already damaged. The employee thought someone cleaned it with the wrong cloth. If you get it you must use the microfiber cloth to clean it not your shirt.
I just upgraded from OG to 6th gen a year ago… with all of the stuff for this one PLUS the new pencil, I’m beginning to feel a little cheated lol. Even just the camera being in the middle of landscape annoys me lol
I desperately need a solution to this problem. If I touch the color picker or the screen longer than about one second the color switches to white. How can I switch off that color change feature off or at least increase its time delay?
someone may have already told you this, but you can twist to make bigger or smaller. I just watched Brook Glaser's video where she explains this, and then saw it in the brush menu, where you can adjust the apple pencil settings for barrel roll to adjust size.. Full disclosure, I was playing while listening to your video so maybe I missed something here lol
Thanks Lisa, buying a gift for an illustrator...what are your thoughts on the 11" vs 13" iPad Pro? They are coming from a 2017 10.5 Pro and mainly use Procreate. I don't want them to feel like it's too bulky.
Amazing work! Where can I find „Roll play” brushes from the video. I have just purchased a Master Bundle from you website, but impossible to find the specific one. Appreciate your help :)
I downloaded your brushes and ensured the barrel roll was selected but the petals do not orient. In fact in my “tool bar” of brushes my petal is vertical. - I’m using the iOS 18 beta
Per Procreate the app is not ready for iOS 18 Beta and will be buggy. Make sure you are on the latest version of iOS 17 then update Procreate to 5.3.10 then install the brushes. The brushes need to be installed after you install the latest procreate update. Happy Art Making.
I recently was in the Apple Store trying to use the Barrel Roll, but it didn't work. I was searching for the right menu to change in the settings..Thanks for showing here, maybe I'll try again, in the future having seen that.
Your video review made me very curious so I went inside an Apple store last week to test. As an artist and illustrator -- I am 100% with you -- the nano is SO much better. To me it feels so much more realistic, not like paper but kind of like drawing on a pleasantly soft chalk board. Nano all the way for me. Thank you SO much for your helpful and brilliant review. I couldn't agree more. Nano all the way! And thank you
I was trying to buy the new pencil this weekend - but they told me you also need the newest IPAD PRO for it to work. Is that your understanding, too? I have the 2019 IPad Pro - and they said it would not be compatible.
I really need guidance for where to even begin in procreate and I feel like I hit the jackpot with your videos. they really resonate with my learning preferences
