I remember going to Sweet Water shows in Seattle back in 92 and seeing you rolling your gear down the sidewalk to the van after the shows. Sounding great, Dudely - Seattle's first rock and roll goatee. .
we mixed the show with an old PreSonus board with Firewire Output to an old MacBook Pro from 2011. I recorded with ProTools separate tracks with no effects. This whole thing is cheap and works perfect for years now. The artists always get the audio and video files from the concerts.
Love the demo Dudley. Great tone, great gear. I have a similar set up with a Strat and Tele, old Blackface Deluxe Reverb, KOT and Warm Audio Centavo. Question, if you were to use both he KOT and Klon, one for rhythm and both for lead, which would you use for the lead boost? Or would you keep both on and use your volume knob for adding volume and gain? Or would you not stack these? Great playing man.
Man I love these. You're so good at getting the right sounds out of a guitar you make it look easy. Bracht is such a great underrated vocalist. I saw a video of him singing Junkhead at a Layne tribute, and it almost sounded like Layne himself.
Basically, a clone is a transparent drive which focuses more on adding drive by maintaining the original sound of the guitar or amp. This is suitable for those who like the sound of the amp and makes it distort without changing the sound, in contrast to classic overdrive or tube simulation which provides characteristics because of its adding or changing sounds suitable for those who like to explore, correct if iam wrong thanks
While the Zen is not a fuzz pedal, it acts very much like one. It is a refinement of the original Mosferatu... what's great about it is the fact that it is very smooth, plus it also fills out the low mids like most fuzz pedals do. It is a great way to emphasize the harmonics coming from the Octavia.
Maybe just me but I prefer the KOT, more transparent and so many other pedals for a mild mid range push if needed eg Keeley mod TS9 orClinch fx echo pre for fatness. I have both of these but not the KOT…hmmmm need to check it out if I can find one downunder.
I’ve noticed more strat players have a Klon. It definitely gives the midrange most single coil pickups lack. Where humbuckers already have plenty mid. Just an observation 🎶
@@GtrPknMama yes, and that's why it is one of the best - kind of gives you MORE of your signal without a lot of coloration. The Klon definitely colors the tone. Different animals, but some of the best animals in the jungle...
Hello, I'm interested in sponsoring a guitar player such as yourself with my own brand and build. Not a joke or a sales gimmick. I'm looking to get my guitars in front of people and I like your playing. No money out of your pocket. No shipping charges, nothing like that. Me and my guitars are the real deal. If you're interested at all send me a message here and I'll figure out how to get in touch with you. I also think I should sing and play rhythm in your band, but that's a different conversation. Cheers.
