Melbourne population in 1836 was 177. 1851 was 23,000. No electricity, no power tools, no motor vehicles. If so much in this time, why isn't half the city in mid-construction..? And Melbourne has the largest subterranean sewer system network in the world. Judge for yourself.

Back when people moved in next door to pubs and clubs and didn't complain about the loud music, which then forced the venue owners to have to quieten down and then end up having to close up altogether. It's sad when such people have ruined Melbourne's great live gig scene, particularly in the suburbs,

She says "It helps us explore the global history of writing, of text, or reading and sharing stories" ...and then proceeds to exclusively talk about the history *_Western_* books. The only mentions of Middle Eastern things, are those that Western books directly descended from, and there is no mention of any kind, of anything in East Asia. Just a brief mention of palm leaf books, as if that was the only other kind of book, aside from Western ones.

This charlatan does not explain how god failed people by sending prophets after prophets so people are divided and kill each others everyday .He does not talk about crimes against Iranian people by Islamic rulers in Iran. He does not touch any real issue in the corrupt world of religion. Majority of people who praise him in their comments are criminals associated with the regime of Iran . The guy has never worked . This is the characteristic of all parasites.

The riveted join is very neat and flat without as far as I can see , steel head hammer bruises. Maybe hammer flat over a bebarked green hardwood eucalyptus log or possible a clay dug out using large wooden mauls Every construction gang, every farm ,every gold fields had a blacksmith to repoint picksand hand tool. Everyone did a bit of black smith work. Have a hot fire , dry eucalyptus burning in a large pit for a day and place the plate in to get red hot over hours without bellows. This was how portable steam crown sheets were renewed. However plow shear, a rough iron or early carbon steel.

The first l remember of Ackland street and Fitzroy Street was earlier in the 1970's when it was run by sharpies and skinheads. It was a dangerous place to go if you were a young hippie or peacenik, as was nearby Windsor and Prahran, all of which seemed to be controlled by them, until they settled down and had families, and mellowed, then the punks moved in. You couldn't go to these places (same with Franjston and the Frankston train line), because you could get bashed. I guy l knew was thrown off a moving train onto the platform on the Frankston line. Thankfully he survived with a few broken bones.

the corruption Ned faced from tyrannical legal & law enforcement system like like we face 2day is the reason why Ned fort the battle 2 free his people from a cowardly oppressing political system , 2day the woke lefty community try 2 demonise Ned because he battelled 4 the poor like a modern day Robin Hood & had no resect 4 the corrupt law & politics

I love the theme of otherworldliness in nature. We had a place called Hawk Mountain where I grew up as a kid (in the US) that had a lot of supernatural things happen. My dad was on a genealogical hunt one weekend, and on a whim he decided to climb the mountain (it's not a mountain that requires climbing equipment, anyone in decent health can make it to the top). When he reached the top, he noticed a small church and graveyard in the valley that he hadn't realized was there. As a backstory, he had been looking for his ancestral grandfather's grave for years. He visited the church after getting off the mountain-- and as it turns out, THAT graveyard had the 1700s tombstone he was looking for!

i dont mind if the public thinks he was a villian, i mean, in the day, police propaganda held high regard as sheeple thought police were just and honourable. so you cant blame people who think this, its just the way some are......untill theyre victims of police themselves. I believe Ned and his family and friends were on the outside of the law, but common sense tells you something pushed them there and so many accounts say it was the corrupt victoria police. some bowed to the police and lived in fear, some rose against the fear. such was the kelly gang. rip ned and family. true aussies and irish know the truth. an aussie hero.

There’s a lot of talk about the Kelly gang being legends. Yes, Ned suffered discrimination for being Irish and had a rough life. But he wasn’t Robin Hood. He and the gang were stone cold killers. They’d chosen their lives. Was the Victorian government supposed to allow someone like him and his associates to roam free, assaulting, murdering and robbing those they felt deserved it? Many people have terrible lives but choose the better path. Ned did not. His story is of historical interest not because of his moral stance(which was terrible) but because of his ingenuity and audacity. As soon as he committed murder the noose awaited him and he knew it.

Ned was a hero, he wasn't a villain, he showed the average folk how to stand up against the law. This isn't criminal, the law is criminal for forcing your oppression.
