Marielle this is amazing! You should create colouring books (if you have not already) for people who cannot draw, like me. With decent paper for brush watercolour pens. I love Ecoline. Thank you for sharing this art!
I would have liked to see how you did all the layering/shading on the face. I struggle with the harsh lines I get with my Ecoline.

Hi Donna, I have a few tutorials that include the layering and shading of the face. For example the one called Butterflies or Hello, Autumn! Good quality paper is key and I often blend my Ecoline brushpens on a palette. Hope that helps!

It has been a while so I am not sure, but I think it is paper for acrylics by Schut: schutpapier.nl/en/art-paper/acrylic-painting-paper I LOVE this paper!

Het geel voor het haar had je toch ook kunnen mengen van het lemon geel met een beetje magenta? In principe kan je met die drie kleuren alle kleuren maken die je maar wilt.

I enjoyed watching your video/tutorial. You did such a terrific job creating the young woman with the leaf wreath. The colors are so beautiful. I'm going to rewatch a few times. I like the way the Ecoline Brush pens worked and the crystals. I couldn't believe that such a small amount of crystals could stretch as far as they did. I'm in awe of your work.

I like the technique of allowing the water to run but was concerned because as some of the colors blended and looked somewhat muddy to me. How do you fix that?

Because I use only a few colours and because Ecoline is transparent mud is under control and you can easily add a bit more brilliant colour when needed. Hope that helps!
This is gorgeous and the first time I seen the eco line brush pens, they look amazing. Is it a water brush pen that you use to blend the eco line pens 🙏
Hi Concetta, for my techniques use a good quality watercolour or mixed media paper that can take loads of water and doesn't rub off easily. I also like some papers for acrylics. Don't use gesso!

Hoi Astrid! Dank je wel voor de complimenten. Posca's kun je met water uitvloeien mits je snel werkt en er een onderlaag van acryl of gesso onder zit. Als je direct op papier werkt trekt de verf vrijwel direct in het papier. Hoop dat dit helpt!
mag ik vragen welke posca markers u gebruik heb je daar nog verschil in

Hi Astrid, Posca's hebben verschillende punten. Mijn favoriet is die met de bullet tip: pc-1mc maar niet alle kleuren die ik mooi vind, zijn beschikbaar met die punt. Daarom heb ik ook een aantal dikkere (3M en 5M).

Would it be wrong of me to ask, what watercolor pencils you know work well with water, besides the more expensive ones like Faber Castell, you are using here? I appreciate it, thank you, Eva

Tough question! I really feel that a good watercolour pencil is worth the price. Cheaper ones are often hard, break easily and don't have enough pigment. My advice: buy them open stock. That is how I collected them too.
