Great walk about tour pointing out the rare collectibles at the show. I'm not nearly that observant. But it definitely helps to have an extra set of eyes. I love castlevania Bloodlines. Its a challenge but the spectacular set piece design has made it timeless. A lot of games towards the end of the genesis line were sold in a cardboard boxes instead of the clamshell. There are a few games like tinhead that are available both ways.
I disagree any NES game is rare when you can hack them get the entire library for free I no longer use my physical cartridges if I want to play NES game I go on my NES classic play them that way very simple
sucks that retro game prices are so high on some games. i miss being a kid in the 90s and being able to buy good nes,snes,ps1 and 64 games for reasonble prices. not having to spend half your paycheck to even buy one nowadays
that tmnt game hes got in his hand was only released in the states and japan the rest of world didnt get it funny thing i ended up going to a market i found a Japanese nes and the game was in there they did end up bringing it back out in the cowabunga collection.
A weird lil game called "creatures" where you play as this fairy care taker thing and have to keep these animals from unaliving themselves or each other... or you let them..
1:55 Yep exactly how I felt with Ocarina of time/MM 3D, Fable Anniversary and Wild Arms Alter Code F. Whenever I go back to any of them for a playthrough it's always on the originals.
I always enjoy your vids gebs..I've a collection of some of my resident evil stuff on my page if your interested..the rest of my games collection Is packed away in the attic..kind regards from Mark in dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘️
gebs.. with that Lara Croft behind you, I just realised you look like her!!!!! In more ways than one. The Rocketeer is great and I didn't know it was on console.
Is this show thing fully open to the public it seems vastly spacious compared to the UK markets? I would love it being able to see everything without climbing over people. Real bout special that you have never heard of is SNK's Neo Geo answer to Street fighter 2, it had a Saturn port. I have noticed that your channel has next to zero coverage of PC engine/Turbo Grafix or Neo geo. There is a challenge for you.
State of the Art. Stellar Darkroom and TBL Captured Dreams. those sticks hard to my brain even today .( as for games I must say cannon fodder , syndicate war and the Settlers) I'm so glad I got to experience the Amiga scene, and ( allthough only 1 time ) went to the gathering ( 97)
I don't think you noticed the CIB Doom on SNES at my booth haha. Hey thanks for coming by and visiting! Was really cool to have you at the booth and show you cool stuff!
Great having you on and being able to meet you in person. The crazy thing is, I miss a lot of games because my head is in stimulation overdrive. I definitely missed the CIB Doom. Stay awesome Matt
@@TheGebs24 it’s not something I’m massively knowledgeable about, as I don’t really collect to much outside of the pal region, but, it does seem like SNES is a LOT more abundant in the states than over here!
@@TheGebs24 Yep. So either him or one of the turtles lol A bit of a long shot but I'll ask, there's a video game retro market in Brighton this Saturday, it would be great if you could attend but only if you can :)
