How did you cut the arch? The human eye is very good at picking out flaws in something like that if you try to free hand it.

Hi There, When they say to add 10% reducer/water to One gallon of paint, is that 10% equivalent to a 12 oz on the measuring cup? Thank you in advance.

Bullshit you cannot use it on any power point because the attachment two pin plug won’t take the wait and only if you have a 15 amp plug in your wall it might work

Hello! Quick question...does it make a difference if the wood is pre-primed? My Miter Saw smokes a bit when i cut a 1/2 board. I've tried different blades and even exchanged the miter saw to make sure I didn't get a defective one. it still burns the wood and smokes

I used nearly identical dimensions, but used 1/4" ply to give horizontal grain to the backing. Pieces joined with Kreg joints rather than gluing with inner moulding attached with a pin nailer. Entire assembly pneumatically nailed to the wall. This makes removal trivial if some later owner decides to change the look

As a woodworking hobbiest, I can appreciate the small work shop. In May of 2023 I suffered a stroke. I am now making over my small shop and the shave horse is a welcome piece. Two years ago I built a vise less work bench and bought metal hold downs that will do the job just fine. Thank you for this easy to build project that will be used for many years. Also, thank you for the videos you put out. I've learned many things over the years watching your work.

A couple years ago I tried getting into wood working and spent a lot of time and money on various projects that all failed. I couldn’t get anything straight or square. After watching this video I made 2 identical and perfectly square cabinets and couldn’t be more proud. Thanks for the simple and effective instructions 👍🏼

An an indoor environmentalist, I appreciate your low-toxin approach! Curious if you’ve ever heard of AFM paint? They are the best for non-toxic paints and sealers. I’d love to hear what you typically like to use.

How did you get front baluster with shorter mid section than the longer one at the back of the tread? Make them your self or order them that way so that the bottom squares line up and the top squares line up with the handrail?

A think I much prefer a jig with chair upright and just bring the saw across the top of the jig for almost exact uniform leg height. Use the cut legs to replace the height of the cut legs plus a very thin shim to simulate the cutout thickness while you work around to each leg. Add a chamfer to the cut edges.

First time viewer, really good video! I have to figure out how to make mine so that I can remove it for clearance when a large piece of furniture needs to get into the basement. It is going to be fun... hmm. It is a house I am just finishing up to sell too so I don't want to put a ton of time into it as the market is ready right now.

When you built the first cabinet I thought “damn I wanted to know how to hide the nailers!”, and then you went and showed how 😅 Thank you for this video! Very helpful! I will be installing French cleats instead of nailers to hang my cabinets :) hiding so they sit flush with the wall

Very cool. I like the subtractive/additive concept and adaptions. Hiding the joints is inspired. Off to the shop to practice that. Thanks for sharing.
