I like to make quality, narrative-driven or commentary-focused Star Citizen (and other wicked game) videos where I try to distract you for as long as possible through the power of free online content.
This looks The Mutts Nutts. Now imagine a game such as this where you are an alleged " Innocent Soul " unjustly sent to The Pitt in place of the parties who sacrificed you and sent you there in their place. You literally attempt to Escape From Hell only to be recaptured and thrown into the pit again. Working Title - Perdition Break.
Not having a stealth takedown for the smaller enemies and basically no stealth mechanics made me refund this. I understand it s early acces but this is way to early for me.
To put it simple, people lost hope with Early Access titles, especially since 90% of them are blatant cash grabs that die off in a matter of a year. Either way, this is a clean pass for me until they remove the real time loss of water outside gameplay. This is basically because I'm not playing everyday and it pisses me off to lose progress over my real life job.
the worldbuilding the factions the lore the characters this could seriously be a massive game/show/series/ this could stick around for a long time if done right
People forgot what fomo is. If you already bought the game then fomo doesn’t exist because you aren’t missing out. What it actually is, is an incentive to play more frequently. Fomo means nothing now because it’s used for everything that makes you feel bad overtime.
Deal breaker is water mechanic. Its not like forgetting your generators and air filters in tarkov. At least in eft the worst the could happen is you dont get the benefits. But kinda having to daily upkeep to properly progress as a core mechanic is a chore.
One of the most amazing games I've played ever, even if they left it as is, I'd play it for years to come. Theres a few things that do need polish, but it is early access and fun dog will get to it. Anyone complaining about the water mechanic is weak
There are two types of people here: Those who have serious interest in the game and begged the devs to release the game as early access way before they even intended so that they can play this game and support the studio... ...and those who haven't observed the production process of the game at all, expect a finished game that just released in early access and are seriously convinced that the devs will immediately drop everything they've been working on just to satisfy such greedy and impatient people who think bug fixes just appear out of thin air.
FYI: StarCitizen out of nowhere now seems to have very good head and face tracking with just a shitty webcam. You just gota set up the camera in a good position and zoom in on your face. There is absolutely no reason to pay money for any eye tracker or head tracker!!!!! Don’t waste your money.
This could have been a remake of an excellent 1990's game called Hired Guns!!!!...........a mish mash of hired assassins, cyborgs and modded humans, tasked on specific missions for their Factions !
Its almost like its an EA that just came out, because the fans all screamed "We don't care about polishj or bugs we just want the game" 5 days later "what, this isn't polished at all? Why are there so many bugs?" I hate you all
All this "It's good it's just really hard" shit is olympic levels of cope. It's absolutely terrible. I hope the devs can tackle all the hurdles this game needs in order to be decent, I really do. But every single youtuber pussyfooting the issue needs to grow a pair. The amount of unbearable bugs and problems with the game in its current state make it literally unplayable. Why is nobody just saying this?
What happened is people were expecting it to be a 5 star meal when they literally said it was still rather raw. Also some ppl playing it as if it was cod and they died endlessly they sucked and trash talked the game. I would recommend to make your own decision instead of saying okay, ill take your word for it. It still needs work and it helps the devs for the feedback regardless.
The Kojima influence hits again. Now we have another stranding type game 🎉 instead of delivering packages 📦 you’ll be collecting from the outside world 🌎.
They don't have to completely take out water loss while offline. Just slow down its tick rate by 3x. You still lose water, but it isn't so punishing for doing irl stuff.
I'm six hours in this game. I've only found a total of 7 water cans, it took me an hour to find the first can. I'm stuck on the third mission and cannot find the required components, this is a tutorial mission. You cannot strafe while you run. Not being able to drop a weapon during a run was confusing. I have consistently had enemies spawn directly on top of me and always at extract. I have prestiged my characters and never noticed a difference. The AI knows where your at, at all times. But yours are shit and have no idea what to do next. I was really excited for this game but I felt let down. I think this would have been a more compelling game in an open world or RPG.
because due to tarkov and many other extraction shooter people have gotten used to a semi polished and a game that slowly puts you in before beating you down. plus 80% of people dont know what a HARDCORE game reallllllly means and after a few beat downs writes a review blaming this or that on the fact there ego got hurt and use it as an excuse to bash whatever they see as a verrrry easy to point at and whine part of the game showing little feedback or critique and more whining they want this on a game in alpha and not even a week out andddd well its literally dark souls and we know how much people bitched about elden ring aka why i stay away from souls likes. EDIT mind you most the the negative reviews are with less then 5 hours and most runs take about 20 minutes to an hour.... so you can guess how many runs before they started whining.
Yeah the problem is the game isn’t anywhere near finished and it’s gonna slowly fade away to obscurity because the playerbase is impatient asf and wouldn’t let fundog cook for at least one more year. Still, I have hope for this game but it’s looking quite grim-ironic.
Watching this makes me realize my water has ran out lol. Game is waaaaaay too janky. It really needed another 6 months of real dev time. The AI goes from acting like driftwood to turning into an embodiment of the Matrix. And the optimization is awful
The game feels really EA and I mean reaaally EA. AI stuck in detection mode or straight up ignoring you and run by you. For people into this, go and beta test it for the rest.
I think one thing that would help this game for ideas towards Weapons(that players or Enemies use) How the AI move or go around would be movies/ games such as "9" for the way the AI move or go around because that game terrifies me and also shows the realism on how enemies move and some weapons such as gas or fire, and in general theres a lot of experimenting that FunDog is probably gonna do but I feel like they have this in the bag but they need a solid person/testing team to help with ideas and testing
