That's extremely impressive, but I still wanna point out that he doesn't start from a deadhang, and he only has about 90 degree elbow flexion. Both of these things make it so much easier. I wonder how much he could pull with very clean form.
What if you wear the chain around your weight like a weight bel?. This would need to be a relatively light chains (approx. 11lbs), and some D rings to turn it into a belt that you were around the waist. As for as a dip belt. A dog collar seems to me that it works just as well, can hold a goodly amount of plates, and is under $15.
That guy is stronger than 99.9999% of the human race. Btw I got a question for you. Mike mentzer once said dips are by far the best exercise for chest, delts and triceps, so you agree or disagree? See a lot of street lifters with big chest, delts and triceps, not sure if that’s just from weighted dips or also from accessories as well.
I'm not the guy you asking, but maybe it will help. I've achieved really good level on weighted dips, but my chest blowed up only after bench press. BUT it doesn't mean that bench is better for chest, becouse: Firstly it depends a lot of the person doing it. There's no best exercise for everyone. Some might get injured from dips and move to bench like me, for some it will be the other way around. And secondary it depends a lot of the technique. You can do dips with accent on your chest, or on your shoulders or even on your back
@@bulat314 Yeah I’ve had some shoulder pain before doing weighted dips, I’d recommend moving to BW only Ring dips until the shoulder pain goes away if you can. Ring dips are a lot more comfortable on the shoulders than bar dips from my experience. Also I’ve never really felt dips in my traps even though a lot of people say they’re indirectly worked through weighted dips. I will say however I think dips are about even with bench when it comes to developing your chest muscles and I think weighted dips are better for triceps. I’ve taken out overhead extensions and tricep push downs and only done weighted dips and my triceps remained the same size. So in terms of compound lifts I think dips are the best tricep builder.
The second one could be translated as "The first to be done in the world", but your translation is not wrong either, just adding another perspective to the statement!
No. Culture and genes are more important than mass. Just look at some african tribes, who regularly preform high jumps to impress women. The amount of talent would be impossible with your theory.
@@tilmanrotationalinvariant2257 surely at least one of these Chinese citizens are eating good and have decent genes, therefore it "is always going to produce extreme outliers", right?
This early on it's hard to say if they truly desire a drug-tested sport, or if it's only to appear more legitimate/marketable to sponsors? Time will tell.
He has more videos on douyin under the name 刘三乐, he is the strongest or one of the strongest in a lot of movements, like 55kg muscle up clean, 3.3x bodyweight bench press, 109kg pull up + 154kg dip with extra range of motion and leg deactivation
He did a +109kg pull up with a bad setup and soooo easily. I think he could be doing +120kg with good conditions. That would be a world record for his categoriy
These are some very interesting concerns and a quite detailed analysis!! You should make a video with Tonio or other organizers posing those questions.
Hello Eugene, great video as always. Can you tell me what athletes in your opinion were juiced on worlds 2023 and why ? Actually curious to hear your analysis. Keep up the work, salute 🫡
