Dabi needs his flamethrower ( like in OHJ2 ) in this game enough said. It was stupid for the game developers to leave it out in the first place. Its like not allowing Bakugou to use his laser. Dabi's flamethrower completes his character. Without it he will still be more vulerable to other attacks he can't see coming. Also not all Dabi players are good team mates and at times get killed trying to save them depending who they are up against.

I dont know if this is relevant but If there are still Iida mains out there interested in learning more Iida let me give you some tips and a further guide on my RU-vid in the future. He can do five hits before the opponent is forced into falling animation. However if used correctly you can get six hits in but you have to do fewer hits but more powerful blows. Basically you can exceed the limit once as long as the hit that does double is 1 hit. Recipro wheel does two hits And Beta Does 2. So Alpha, Alpha Beta is an example of exceeding the limit of 5 and going to 6. And I will be doing a more advanced tutorial sooner on my RU-vid channel so if you are interested please come take a visit and thank you for showing this video cuz this is always a fun character to use
Ngl I hate support so much as a support main because one I play in a country where I don’t know the language so I can’t do callouts and two we have ppl not prioritizing right targets I stay out of the way then get pushed by dive heroes and my only escape are ppl not paying a lick of attention to where they’re healers are and what’s actually happening. When I’m the number one priority to kill it’s hard to even play a game where my dps can’t even land final blows or be good enough to pressure said divers. I’m in a constant fight to stay alive and when I pick a character that can kill then I do it cause my dps don’t do anything my tank can’t get in to get they’re healers and it’s all just a shitfest
Ive been maining tenya since release and i just now saw this and noticed ive been playing him all wrong lol. Ive been a rat. Recibro burst for me is only when teammates are down, or when i need to escape and feel like i can escape. I do level up beta to max first and just hit people with it once or twice and spin ninja away. I rush for team items and revive cards and use him essentially as an guerilla ambulance.

And some of these defenders are right and wrong. Aim assist is like aim bot but it will miss moving targets. Sometimes, it does or don't. And as of right now, I'm probably the worst Deku/Bakugo player in the world because I main Dabi anyway. No aim assist + no crosshair with skillshot characters would probably help your aim to get close to the level of pc players in due time. PC aim > aim assist anyday imo how I look at it. I'm on console btw.
Tenya is too busted. His tracking always hits regardless of parries/dodges. His kicks break through kendo’s shield AND deal massive damage. Thats too op and they needa nerf him. I almost never lose a game as him. Literally just do m1-m2 >Alpha >beta twice and they’re dead. Or in gamma mode just do like the video says. Way too over powered and requires zero skill. Unlike characters with actual combos like deku and my baby kendo
Why can’t anyone just play the game as it meant to be played. Why everything is a hack to these idiots. And they need to reward us more take too long to roll for a character game is lacking too many things
I've talked about this with someone on discord and I don't think they can reward points for rescuing teammates (at least with instant res abilities), mainly because of Toga. She can infinitely res people with almost no downtime as long as she cancels her transformation and copies the char able to res people over and over again. I once res'd my Dabi and Tenya 2 times each before going down myself by copying an aggressive Frog

Even then teammates that go down recover less and less health I think, it's only a matter of time until they catch the one that keeps resing them or keep me away from my team long enough to execute them. Either way it was the enemy team's fault for being too greedy for kills and not paying attention to me
I was thinking the same exact changes. I just want to add a further analysis to his character as well. The problem with compress atm is that the current meta (todo,deku, bakugo) is that , if they are competent, whenever they see you raise your shield they just stop shooting you and then hit you with a melee gap closer. Also todo's ice slide cannot be reflected either, so it just feels awful to go agasint. The problem with this is that their kits are overloaded with moves that by pass certain interactions in the game. aka the Todo one I just mentioned. Also even if you predict their movements you cannot do anything against. Now my actual main point is that too of compress's moves and situational meaning that compress doesn't do anything until he is either interacted with. This is because his alpha is too short range and holds little versatility, like you have shown with the bad aerial hitbox with it. This severally hinders compress's potential in skill expression.in comparison to his roster counter parts. Like dabi. He can lay traps and create a temporary projectile shield for his team. whilst getting shot at but his kit, like compress can only interact with the enemy at will via the alpha skill. In my opinion I wished they would make characters special actions level up based on level up total. For example, you can level up your abilities 27 times, why not make it so that at overall level up's you receive, level up compress's special action . For example at overall level up 10 it can make it so that you pick up downed teammates. Then the next level up can either speed up the pick speed with special action and make it heal more whilst being carried or Increase the distance with which you can pick up teammates. (Like froppy range). I know this is a long yap but I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Also i think gate keeping power levels on special actions behind max level can help balance the characters without having to nerf them too hard.
damn, back ago I needed to hard lock a suyu because the troubles that the character could do, but the problem was that, I had to really commit to down suyu. it's kind of relaxing that suyu has to commit now. I remember that she tounged in do dmg, tounged out, camuflage and she was literally gone for free.
I'm happy those nasty frogs got nerfed and even predicted the Beta skill charge reduction nerf in your "can we stop" video lmfao. I don't necessarily think her dmg was too high, I just think it was too much to come all at once with Alpha>Beta x2, so I'm glad they nerfed the dmg anyways. Maybe I'll actually get on the game again
Froppy only ever had 3 Alpha's, they only changed how many she has at level 1-3. They've just hit her early game really hard. I need to feel it out, but i don't know how much this will affect her. This is definitely a hit but her main strengths were her instant displacement ress and her ability to chase/ run away. And neither have been hit that hard imo. The biggest saving grace is the reload speed on Alpha. It might make it easier to chase her down. But i dunno. We will have to see. Personally i still want that reload speed on alpha nerfed even more. I really don't want her to be able to use two tongues to engage. Wait, 2 seconds and than just get to use 2 tongues to get out into invis. With that said, bakugo got nerfed again. And i don't think this will do anything to his position on PC. I don't think think they realize no top player is going to switch off of bakugo/deku until he is nerfed hard again. Than todo will be the go to until he gets nerfed. Than allmight etc. This is my prediction for the meta. Long range characters dominate how the game is played.
Bro .... wth is all this celebration rant? 😂😂 Although if we're being honest she's kind of in a bit of a problem, her movement option is also her attack option so if she decides to do movement, she can't fight that good And that ain't a problem for someone like all might or boom boy who can still throw down even if they can't use their mobility cards, but a nerf for tsui was coming eventually she was just crazy perfect
Thats the point. Her ability to get in do dmg and out in 1 cycle rotation was a massive issue as it was pretty much not possible to trade with her. NOW if you do that playstyle she will die 100%. Now she has to HARD commit on fighting or escaping. No in between.
I play him a lot more now that I have a regular Kendo to play with. Dropping with her in the middle of an enemy group is a down for 1 or 2 of them almost instantly. Still yes, I wish Gamma was faster for escaping
i don't think we really need a rework of his kit if anything gonna change all i would wish for is a slightly faster alpha and being able to use special action kamikaze anytime instead of only using it when we get knocked down ofc slow cool down
@@wrexld9276 ikr i wouldn't mind a trade off aswell , it really doesn't make sense for a special action which can only be used once you're down already i mean like why should i get downed in the first place , in any game , it's alot better that way considering the move is not a sure hit knock it'll just make dabi like a giant ass trip mine where any opponent is actually afraid of getting too close lol.

You literally said it yourself in the video.. "With a coordinated team he is a menace" And that's the point. him + anyone else attacking adds a TON of pressure due to his slower fireballs and the tracking. He is also great at catching froppy and ida when they try to fly away as well. He is horrible in a 1v1. You can just walk through everything he does as even kendo and laugh. But in a TEAM... He is very much useful.
He won't be changed again because he is good with teams. We use him in our kir, froppy, and dabi team. Dabi makes them get the abilities faster and if you're dodging the big burst from those chars you will most likely get hit by his alpha. If you press dabi those 2 chars will wreck you and knock you into his traps. Lastly, those 2 chars are weak at killing down chars in a timely manner which dabi is insane at. So overall Dabi is only good arranged games with specific teams.
