i always thought that suzuki escudo at Pikes Peak has the weirdest design I've ever seen, as weird as a monster and that car IS really a monster. what's more? the driver, Tajima also known as a "monster". overall it's literally a monster at Pikes Peak back then, and i really love that car.
Never heard of it, but since seeing it so often as an overlooked amazing game that challenges gt, I just had to order it form ebay. Really excited to see how it is!!
It's so sad they killed this amazing machine with invented rules. Instead of trying to make similar cars, they did this. I hate this kind of stuff so much.
I remember someone told they wanted F1 to race again in las vegas. And the vegas was supposed to be held in 1997 and this time it was an actual street circuit and this time it was bigger and better than 1981 - 1984 race. And the race was held on the street on Fremont Street, Boulder highway to Hollywood and back again. So this 97 circuit was wider. Anyway this F1 race was called the Boulder Station 500. And it was supposed to be held on June 7, 1997. But all of the sudden this F1 race never happed at all. Today this remains an F1 mystery. Also sorry my comment was long.
I was there in the coldest Florida February I ever experienced; I was a total Ford GT40 fan and I can assure you that it was no joke. The P4 was the dominant car and the race which started at 3:30 pm was essentially over by midnight; the Ferraris took control of the race after 9 hours and never looked back. Ford never had a chance to match the torrid pace set by the red cars from Maranello. We stayed till the end; two weeks later we returned to Daytona and watched Mario Andretti win...driving a Ford. It was still freezing cold! 😂
Fuckin stupid no car on planet earth should be over 5 mil I love this car it's cool fast af analog looks like a killer wasp but tell me how it's worth 20 fucking million dollars is it so fast I can go to outer space? Is it so fast it leaves fire trails behind? Is it so fast I can burn green fire does it have diamonds all over it amethyst gold titanium etc etc what the fuck does a car need to be worth 20 million
I whitnessed Schumacher blowing his engine at the Nurburgring in 1991 , right in front of us at the Muhlenbach tribune . It was just unforgetable with the Jaguars and Mercedeses !
The progression was terrible in the game, you count buy any cars, you were just given a roulette on the cars you raced and got whatever opponent the game landed on. As a result you were limited severely buy what you were driving and what you were racing.
Not "no one except Enthusia", becasue Forza Motorsport did with a great success (although i still prefer GT3 over it, but i'm not as big on GT4, which i still consider a 10/10 game regardless), and Sega GT 2002 with rather poor results. There was also Driving Emotion Type-S but this was a pile of horsepoo (i'm not mentioning more games like GTR or Toca here). But i have to say for me personaly, although i would rate GT3, GT4, FM and EPR all 10/10, i think Enthusia is the best game of this bunch. It has an amazing driving model, that plays a bit like slightly toned down Assetto Corsa, it has an amazing graphics and artstyle, many great ideas (like Enthusia Points that were good substitute for damage model - although this mechanic wasn't perfectly implemented, or the fact that you get more for racing in a weaker car and you are awarded for racing that car longer - although this also discouraged experimenting with other cars). Heck, even the car rooster was incredible and filled with unique cars.
i feel like the actually underrated driver is bugalski, man got not only a podium but 2 wins against the WRC cars with the xsara kit car, and was a vital part of the developement of both xsaras, including the one that got 6 titles in 4 years and ,before the c4 even existed, became the most dominant car to ever exist. puras said in interviews how he always was breaking later than him in every corner, he might not have driven a full season in WRC but he still got one of the most impressive and underrated careers in rally.
That’s definitely my all time favorite race car! I even have the 1/18 scale models of those cars!👌🥰👉♥️the sounds that came out of that engine were music to my ears!!🥰
@5:15 Except, it is not that simple. Any type of collision or stepping out of bounds makes the player lose Enthusia points, even the stupid AI recklessly bumping into the player. If it is just about clean driving the game failed miserably. Thank goodness you can recover those points by resting or winning races. @5:32 It is still far from being a full-blown simulation. @6:21 Really? The physics are the only thing akin to a simulator. No tire wear, no fuel consumption, no proper setup, no damage model.
You can set up the car in the car settings these include the tuning level, height, spring rates, damper, toe angle, camber angle, gear ratios and even the limited slip. For a PS2 game its quite decent for a sim the only PS2 game that can match Enthusia's physics is Evolution GT.
All i can say is that "Miles & Vandenni are the luckiest people, that i was not there to race them" They would've called me a cheater, like any other online racers out there.
1967 was the proof that just throwing money to the issue is not worth anything without the right people. Ferrari were nowhere close to Ford's budget, but racing was in their blood. Ford lost Miles and lots of people who actually knew what they were doing. The 330 P4 and Daytona's display was one of the most dominant wins ever
This car SUCKED to drive in the Gran Turismo games. It was almost impossible to handle. I'm not the least bit surprised to learn that it was a deathtrap in real life.
