I never have and never will be a patreon to any channel. Imagine loving 5 channels and wanting so called exclusives by being a patreon? I’m going broke but the channels thrive from my and many other gullible folks hard earned money? NOPE! My hard earned money is mine. Utube is free and wifi internet isn’t! So I pay for internet to watch free content. Why should I pay anything for something you’re choosing to want to do? Obviously you have the time to do this why would I pay to see what I can eventually find on google? 😂
That weird Internet rumor about the show being in production during an actor's strike and a writer's strike is listed on the IMDB trivia section. I wonder where that came from if it's not true?
Rocky ridge is great! I did not realize the height of both almanzo and Laura until you walk into their home.. almanzo built it to their height.. at 6 feet just trust me I got it.. smile
This is going down as one of my favorites! I loved hearing about the looping process. I always knew they were doing something to the sound in the outdoor scenes just wasn’t sure. Pretty interesting stuff!

Aloha from big island of Hawaii I remember Tracy on channel 7 news (I'm originally from dayton ohio) I was sitting here racking my brains on how I recognize Tracy's name noooow I know. I never knew u were on little house. I even remember your character too. I grew up watching little house never missed an episode
I am extremely shocked Melissa Sue agreed to do this. Melissa Gilbert, and Allison I believe said she was was really mean and cold while filming. Guy who played her brief bf John Jr. said she wasn't friendly. I think Allison said she saw Melissa Sue at a wedding as adults, and said nothing changed- rude, cold, not friendky!
Alison is 100% correct. A contract with a child is not binding. They had a good judge because he made the children aware of this. It should be required that all child actors know this before signing.
I loved Tracie as Christy, but it wouldn't have made sense for her to be Laura. She would be the same age as Mary. They would have to replace Melissa Sue Anderson.
This interviews should be one on one. Way too many people talking over each other with inside jokes. But I guess that's what most modern podcasts are about.
Would like to ask Melissa and Leslie Landon about lazy Michael Landon repeating the same plots 3, 4, 9 times! Final season was just Landon repeating old LH and Bonanza plots. 9 plots kids running away! Laura ran away 3 times. Albert ran 3x! over Fagan, burning down blind school, morphine frenzy. Nancy, James, stuttering Gideon ran away.
Would also like to ask Melissa what she thought of Michael Landon's bizarre obsession with non-stop kidnapping/hostage plots on LH! There are 8+ episodes on this! Laura was held hostage 3x as a kid in the cellar , teen at the blind school, and as a mother. Rose was held hostage as a baby, and kidnapped as a toddler. Mr. Olsen kidnapped and ranson hostage. Mary held hostage 2x. First as a helper to Jesse James, then as blind Mary at the blind school. 😮 . Willie and Nellie too smart to get kidnapped!
I would love to have lunch with Allison and Melissa Gilbert and ask them a million questions. One I woukd ask is why NBC allowed the Sylvia rape 2 parter? The entire 2 houes was totally inappropriate! The boys watching Sylvia undress. Sylvia being very sexually aggressive towards Albert. Mrs. Olsen telling the town that Albert was the father! Sylvia's father telling her to "bind her breasts down flat" because the boys going into heat! Rapes, her dying. Violence. NBC should have rejected it. I am still damaged by that episude 40+ Years later
There is great chemistry, but Alison, I think is the driving force...I started listening to her show The Alison Arngrim Show and can't get enough of her style. She interviews a really wide variety of people and does a really great job balancing her own experience and those of her guests. And she's really fun, too! I highly recommend checking it out if you like this channel's vibe!
HANS DORFLINGER WAS THERE FOR YRS THAN THE ONE THAT RAPED SIVIA HE WAS IN THE EPISODE ALSO WHERE CHARLES AND ISSAH WERE HAULING DYNAMITE THAN A NO NAME THAT WAS THERE WHEN CHARLES WAS BUYING THE HORSE THAN JOHN CARTER
What? Actor Richard Jaeckel played the guy hauling explosives with Lou Gossett Jr , Charles. Mr. Edwards. He also played Sylvia's rapist. The casting lady on LHOTP was absolutely atrocious and lazy! She cast James' "Uncle Jed" in 5 previous episodes! Actor Eddie Quillan was on 6 episodes. The girl that drowned skinny dipping with Laura and Mary was in a school house scene months later! The worst was casting actress Kyle Richards as Alicia Sanders Edwards in several episodes, then having her come back a couple of years later playing the daughter of the drunk father. Ridiculous
Back when I was a preteen I used to watch Tracie Savage on WHIO in Dayton, Ohio. She was a journalist then. I then got into horror and imagine my surprise when I saw her in Friday the 13th part 3!! It was so cool! And then finding out she had worked on Little House on the Prairie, one of my favorite shows when I was really young! I loved getting to see her interviewed here! Awesome!
Finally back to normal audio. There have been several recent shows with bad to terrible audio issues. The Tombstone show is impossible to enjoy because of the lousy audio. PLEASE KEEP BETTER PRODUCTION STANDARDS. Michael Landon would be ashamed by these low standards.
Lhotp has been on daily in re-reunite forever! Is on 24/7 on Roku and she basically hasn't watched it since 1977? Huh? I only remember Christy on 3 episodes.
I am a bit sad that the tv show didn’t really follow the books in the “I won’t say obey” part. I know they need to create drama for a show, but they absolutely had Almamzo putting his foot down and ordering Laura to do things. From all we know, this relationship was really a partnership.
I watched the reruns when I was young. My sisters and I just loved to hate Nellie Oleson. We all had a crush on Almanzo. You two were amazing as those characters. No one could have played these parts other than you two! Thanks for the years of entertainment!
Alison is absolutely my favorite part of rediscovering LHOP. She’s an amazing human with an amazing story. When I met her in PA, I couldn’t have enjoyed it more and just wanted to keep hugging her!!
Alison, thanks for all you've done and your great work as Nelly. What a fabulous way to work out issues and anger. Love LHOTP. I also watch Highway to Heaven and think it is excellent. I'm sure "US" by Michael Landon would have been great as well. He certainly worked out a lot through his work. Highway to Heaven has really tough ssues and Micheal handled them so well.
Hello. I would like to collaborate with you and do a video on your channel talking about how God took me from homelessness to earning a doctorate. I think it would bring hope to your viewers. Let me know if you're interested.
