You got that wrong. It was because he considered Jesus as being like him ..' A Good man' . His sin was that his wealth and social standing prevented him from fully appreciating who Jesus was. It's evidence of a presumptive lifestyle that comes from having wealth. It is common today, especially in some churches. 🎉

Paul was speaking to a specific audience in that ONE verse y’all LOVE to quote, yet you forget about ALL of the other women that were used by God in scripture as Prophetesses and Evangelists.. @@sparker1414 if you want to say “specific audiences” then you exclude everything in the Bible. You’ll exclude homosexuality too right? Do you even know why woman are to submit to the man? Because Eve sinned first. That’s literally the whole reason Paul appealed to it. Oh but the story of Adam and Eve was written to a certain group of people right? Adam and Eve isn’t mentioned in Hindu scripts so do they not have to agree that Adam and Eve were the first people? Just because it was written to a group of people does not mean you can just throw it away. You’d have to follow your logic with everything.

Not an ordained or Holy Spirit led minister when you think the traditions and customs of mankind trump the word of God. God's word is the same then and now and tomorrow. God does not change HIS word for mankind. Mankind bends to God's will not the other way around.
If his “mistakes” are infidelities, then you’ll need a lot of grace. If he follows the Ten Commandments, then both lying and cheating are off the table for him.
So asking for perfection, means you want your partner to lie to you? And why would anyone want that? Accept the imperfect person for who they are and love them for being honest.
This video doesn't make sense. So it's she trying to say she will follow him no matter what? That's not scriptural. We need to stop enabling our partner to continue in sin. Paul in his writings said that he removed someone out of the congregation who was in sin and let him come in until he cleaned up his act. Let me tell you lady, marriage is a commitment or contact. Once it's broken it's no longer good. That's what Jesus said. We can divorce if sexual immorality is involved. Frankly if someone cheats on you they are breaking that covenant with God and you. So why are we honoring adultery?
