Anyone know the springs needed to order for a zr120 year 200 the throttle and govoner springs the skidoo will only go 5-10 km an hour due to it being hard for my son to push the throttle and when I leave the choke on it goes to fast
BM, If you read the rule set scraping of carbon is allowed for measurement accuracy. Piston pop-up, depth of the combustion chamber, and deck surface are going to be areas cleaned to insure an accurate measurement point.
Any reason I couldn't bolt this engine to Thai Longtail Mud Motor kit - Been using Predator 212 but think on purchasing one of these in I'm guessing a performance model upgrade for little more power & I understand they're reliable motors -

The engine fasteners are non tech. ARP makes a bolt that works perfect on a Briggs animal head and will not stretch as fast as the stock bolts. Call ARP and give them the length , thread pitch and diameter. They are expensive around $15.00 each but will last through multiple head removals.
Chris, Fasteners unless specified ARE tech items including the head bolts. There is no reason to replace our head bolts as we do not take them to close to yield allowing them to be reused again and again while still insuring proper joint integrity.
respectfully, LO206 is the fastest growing class in the US on Sprint Karting and is one of the best entry level to advanced intermediate classes ever developed in Karting I've ever seen. I do think what will develop out of these classes is a more advanced driving skilled racer ever produced in the US and has also spawned affordable platforms for Driver coaches and people to get back involved in Karting. We have introduced this engine on our Dirt racing in the southeast as well as an affordable option for Vintage kart racing progressing all the way up to possible World Formula advanced level competition.
@Nimbus Nimbus you have many other options to get an advantage tires, gearing, clutch set up, chassis set up.. At least everyone has the same motors.. And with every 206 the same you can usually tell the cheaters just by the sound of the kart on the track.. And it really isn't that expensive to be competitive and legal..
