@@chichenlo1663 thanks. I don’t think there’s any way to save gas with these Tundras. They drink gas the same weather you’re taking it easy or stomping on the pedal.

@@TouXai I really don’t bomb cast my lures that often due to kayak fishing most of the time. I use this reel for frogs and punching. I have bomb casted it when I first got it and I feels like it casts pretty far.
Any chance you’d share what that rod and reel were you used for the wacky? What color was that worm? I have a bc I use for my wacky too and it works really good. But the reel is a cheapo. Haven’t found a nicer one I like yet for it.
Is there a decent amount of space between the metal sleeve piece and the top cork piece of the reel seat on yours? Just bought this same rod and don’t understand why it has such a gap.
@@dvangfishing well based on the pics and your video it doesn’t seem like I’m missing any parts. I unscrewed the top of the reel seat and slid it up the rod and wrapped a bunch of electrical tape around that medal piece to try and fill some of the space inside that top cork part.
I was throwing a small swimbait on a jig head. I believe my brother was throwing a 3inch senko on a free rig. When he was catching them on the free rig, that’s when I switched over to the free rig too.

Thanks. Yeah brother, I don’t mind. I usually fish Badin Lake, Tuckertown, and High Rock Lake. I just started fishing Lake Norman a little more this year. I usually don’t fish on weekends. I do most of my fishing whenever I’m off on weekdays.
@@dvangfishing dam haha I do majority of my fishing on weekends. Occasionally I go out during the week but only evenings. That’s good to know at least I found your channel and can get fishing reports haha

@@noahmorris8156 it’s pretty stable. I can stand and fish but I’ve gotten too comfortable with sitting down and setting the hook. So I really don’t stand too much now. I should have gotten the 12ft one too. I feel like I don’t have much room with my 10. I usually have my battery box (use to power my troller motor) behind my black pack and that’s a tight fit. I say “yes” get the 12ft one!!!!
