Dvang what motor you running on that slayer max? Love your kayak channel. They’ve been chewing over here on the west coast and I’ve been putting out some good kayak bass fishing videos on my Yakventures channel. You have the kayak I want for lake bass fishing.
Off topic from this video but how did you secure the nk-180 motor mount to the rails of the slayer max 10? Been trying to figure out what screws to use.
@@dvangfishing were all 4 holes on the mount equal in size? I have the 1/4 20 inserts and screws but they’re a little small to feel secure in the back set of holes. I have the new nk-180pro. So I’m not sure if the original model had smaller holes in the back or not.
@@sunnyvang3772 I believe the holes on the bracket are the same size but the front (stock) screws seems a little bigger. . I used the stock screws for the two front holes and then for the back holes(on the tracks), I used the 1/4 20 inserts with a washer and screw. They haven’t given me any issues so far.
Yeah. There was a kayak tournament going on too @ Lake Norman. I only fished for a couple of hours. It got too crazy and wasn’t worth me flipping my kayak, so I left.
@@JustLewisNoClark I see. If I knew that the weather was going to be that crazy, I would have just stayed home. It got pretty crazy that it wasn’t fun anymore.
