FYI. the air vanes that power the tool are made of plastic, so it WILL fail and rather quickly. I used mine 3 times and they broke off during the third time
Bruce Foster here,I have the same lathe and your video was a perfect inspiration to do the same .I have got to get that metal and make some chips. Thanks
Hello Don. I just bought a house that has these cameras installed. In full disclosure, I dont know anything about security cameras and only have basic knowledge of how to use computers for internet, word and excel. The previous owner left the switch (?) that I assume is how I will connect them to my router. Ive learned that Ill need an NVR. I think the previous owner had the cameras run to an old hard drive in the garage. Any information you can share to someone who knows nothing about how to get these up and running would be appreciated.
My parents gave me this exact 150 in one for Xmas 1976 when I was 11. I use to take it to School and me and my friend Ricky would wire up the different projects over the lunch hour. The police siren was the best one from what I remember. The TV show CHIP's was big at that time so we loved it. Ricky was so inspired by all of this he got his parents to buy him the 200 in one kit!
Nice to see you just testing thee water if you will. Just casual riding getting to know your bike and the things that your lowly learn8ng what you can and can't do on it. This far.
I watched your video and enjoyed it a lot. You sound like you know what you’re doing. With that in mind I have a question. I have an old 1940 drill press that I want to put a 1/2 hp 3 phase motor on. I bought a Transformer to step up the 110 from my garage plug in to 220. Here’s the question: is that all I need? All I have to do is plug the transformer in the wall and the 3 phase motor into the transformer. I also bought a VFD to regulate the rpm’s. Any advice will greatly be appreciated…..
Thank you so much for these great ideas. I have a 2019 grand caravan and my side doors would just randomly open. After a 300 dollar quote from the dealer I bought some cheap aftermarket’s from Amazon which did not pair with the new grand caravan. So I disassembled them. The aftermarket fob had a plastic tape covering the circuit board that force connected the circuit board to the metal connectors. So I ripped off the tape gently and reattached them on top of the circuit board of my native key. Everything works like a charm now.
Thanks my 2014 Dodge Caravan Key Fob lock buttons stopped working you are correct on everything you are saying I ordered another fob I think the switch cover most likely will solve the problem using the new one
It's all about the dollar. I bought an 2011 grand Cherokee from Port Jeff jeep with a stock radio. I picked up a touch screen radio (plug n Play) And made the mistake of buying the wiring kit from that dealer. Plugged everything in radio didn't work. Then I went back to jeep and the service guy told me the radio has to be programed to the computer. That's BS. And he says it will be 160$ and no guarantee. OH SO IT'S A SCAM? I went against my better judgment and let him do it. Just as I suspected, didn't work. So I went back to the guy who sold me the radio and told him I want to try his wiring harness from his radio. And sure enough it worked. I went back to jeep and with a room full of customers I told the manager you guys took me for 160$ when you sold me a bad wiring harness and you knew programming the thing wasn't going to work. That was the last time I ever went back to that SHITHOLE. Auto dealers ate the biggest thieves EVER!
We used to own our vehicles. No longer so. They're creating the in for themselves. It's not yours anymore. It's a partnership and these people plan to be along for a free ride as long as you're willing to play along. Your independence is gone. Nonexistent.
Thank you so much for this video! You helped me out more than you know. I just wanted to let you know the way around the alarm going off when you use the backup key. When you get out of the vehicle manually lock the door before you close it. Hold up the outside door handle while closing the door. Door will be locked without the alarm on.😁👍
get bent, stuff moved along with time. neodymium motor tech the last ten years is state of the art ridiculously good. drones don't exist without um . his story that can be proved with evidence, is always super duper valid. I'LL ADMIT NITRO ENGINES ARE very GOOD. but have a word with yaself n ya life choices. when u tare down a guy who's just showing u something he brought.. cus it's his hobby he wants to share. GO N SIT IN THE WOODS WITH A FIRE TILL U GET IT. I love ya input. NEGATIVE THAT IT IS. 70years of advances, AINT A STICK TO BEAT OTHERS WITH. I love ya comment. but. BE NICE OR FU(K 0FF.????. I came here to learn stuff. my electric bike has 8 times the BHP output of his rig, but it's SUPERP00 IN THE RAIN. u TW@t. cheers 4 the vid :-)
Why put cheap $7.00 Chinese bearings in there? How about a good timken, or other American bearing. They are not that expensive. You should be using a press instead of hammering on the shaft. Make it even easier, put the shaft in the freezer overnight, and warm the bearings. They will go on a lot easier. You could have used a small square punch to tap the luck nut loose, rather than chew things up with channel locks. If your going to do that, use a rag to protect them. Good explanation though, for someone who doesn’t have the proper tools.
Noticed you had 4 mounting holes on your head stock and ways. Did you drill the fourth hole. I know these laths at least the Chinese versions only come with 3 mounting holes/ bolts for the head stock. I recently purchased the 16 inch lath bed for the mini lathe and it also only came with only 3 mounting holes. Can't figure why there are only 3 mounting holes a fourth hole does not interfere with any function of the lathe or head stock but it would add more stability. Thanks.
I bought the G9729 back in 2004. Did many adjustments and a few mods, and this machine is very accurate now. I love it. Had problems with motors early on but have soon replaced. Still keep a set of capacitors on hand.
I’m glad that my 2010 ram has a standard key. I still have problems trying to get the key out when you put it into Park. Everyone I know with a ram. That type of has problems. Dodge really has you over. The barrel with their keys pisses me off I’m sure it pisses everyone else off.
My 2010 ram 4.7 has a regular key column. You put it in Park and the key won’t come out.But ! if you move the car a foot or two and turn the steering wheel a slight bit you can put her down and the key will come out. been doing it for around three years and it’s starting to really piss me off lol. Do not wanna change the whole mechanism .. does anyone else have the same trouble? If so, can you tell me if you solve the problem I would appreciate it.
How not to do it. Throw the adjusting screws away and there is no need for studs. Get some 6x15 mm bolts to attach the carriage caps and some 1, 2 & 5 thousandths brass or steel shim material and shim to the proper 0.001" clearance.
Somebody please explain to me why some people find it so necessary to make obnoxious smacking noises with their mouths every few words… 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
