Hey Glen, I did the same thing about 10 years ago. I ordered mine with an ebony fret board. I replaced everything too, including the truss rod cover. Got it fret dressed and set up. Plays really good, holds tune & intonates properly. I love it and like you did it for me and me only. I've done the same with a Paul Stanley cracked mirror Iceman and use that regularly in my band. Rock On mate.
Sorry,...but I bought the Budokan Les Paul replica ( same guitar with block inlay's, no Ace pic on the headstock ),...I have it playing and sounding fantastic,.....ONLY EVER PURC BUY FROM RETURNS ACCEPTED,.....that way if you get one of the few bad playing ones, you can return it,.....I buffed the finish off the back of the neck, put 3 covered Guitar Madness pickups in mine,...along with a graphtech nut, 3three 500k Mojo volume knobs and an All Parts, 3 way, switch....$250 guitar with $ 110 parts,....the guitar sounds better than my real Les Paul,...and with 3 pickups,. ( although I rarely have the middle pickup volume up) ,.....more versatile.
I always respected how you used “Doncha Hesitate “ as your theme song!!!! That song to me is classic KISS all around!!!! I would love someday to make a recording of this song with you …..anyone who loves this song is a friend of mine!!!!! I may not agree with the last carnation of KISS but at the end of the day we (kiss fans) all understand the importance and fascination with KISS!!!!
Kiss's only time to the republic of Ireland, but their second time to the island of Ireland after Belfast 1988, crazy nights tour.

After listening to all the solos I believe Steve is playing solo on "Fighting For Life". That solo is just too clean. Steve probably plays all the guitars on that song.
Chibson's are nothing but wall hangers.I watch people say that it's just as good as Gibson. Then they play, and they're a beginner. I saw someone get beaten by a Chibson for trying to sell it as Gibson.Broke the guitar on him.Come to find out,he bought it as a Gibson, and didn't know it was fake.😢
Kiss Alive II side four was a disappointing studio recording stuff. Rocket Ride and Larger than Life, Rocking in the USA and Do You Love Me Live would of been cool.
Fan since 76. Saw reunion in 96/97. To me that was the end. Saw psycho and farewell and will never compare to the reunion. I sm not new to this. Honestly, I love the reunion but in a way I wish the Paul, Gene, Eric and Bruce kept on going.
Rumour on the street of-late has it Gene's latest comments to Blabbermouth (one of many media outlets) he said "they're" spending $200 million on this for 2027...". Gene used the third-party reference 'they're' as if giving some business decision to another outside entity in the promotion of the KISS brand going forward. For a guy known as a control-freak, obsessed with his own personal wealth and fiercely protective of the licensing and marketing of his product, I have never heard him use the word 'they're' in a statement about a financial expenditure before. It's a foregone conclusion the AI avatars have died on the operating table in KISS fandom, that said Simmons seems to be having buyers-remorse on being all-in on the KISS AI project. Perhaps Paul and Gene have entertained a partial buy-out of the KISS brand to one of the several music and entertainment conglomerates (such as Universal Music Group) which promise multi-millions in-exchange for a controlling share of music publishing, recording rights and brand licensing for 25+ years to their estates. Time will tell.
Saw also my last Kiss show in Quebec City, Canada in november ... Can't really grasp that it's done. I must have seen them 10 times... 😪 Love to hear that for some youngster, the last line up was THE lineup. I grew up with Kiss in mid 1970s.
Great stuff man, thanks for having me back on! Can't believe it's been almost a year 😂 I'm glad you're back doing RU-vid, 2024 is gonna be a great year!
100%. Thanks so much for coming back on. We never run out of things to talk about! Looking forward to your next episode and we'll have to do more in the future! 😃
I think it looks and sounds great , real gibsons arent perfect either ask fulton street beats ..his chibson angus young sg had better inlay work than the real one he has lol
Nowhere to Run! The first time I heard it was as a B-side on the Forever single. I bought the single (on tape, yep, I'm old) and was pleasantly surprised to find this song on it. A couple of years later, I saw a Japanese import CD of Killers in my local music shop, and picked it up. I've always loved this song and think it's a massive shame that it didn't make it to a full album, as I believe this one is a hit. Most KISS fans seem to like it, as well as Paul... you can find a few videos of him playing parts of it live.
Hello my friend and greetings from Las Vegas Nevada, USA! Hi Glen. I heard that there was some trouble in your neck of the woods due to some nut-job with a knife. I'm just checking in to say that I hope & pray 🙏 that you and yours are all well & good... I love, LOve, LOVE your channel. You're one of the very few "true" KISS fansites that are really honest! I'm sorry that I couldn't find you when you guys were in Vegas. I would have bought you a "Black & Tan"! God bless and take care...

Hello everyone! I am the person who organised this recording, and there are still several copies available. Please send me a PM if you would like a copy for yourself. ~ Johnny Hawk
None of those fakes are playable out of the box, but the phony boney and the 1956 LP replica both from Muzoland with my own work I got them to sing. My fake Ace one I have done a lot of work on it but it still sucks with the fret buzz I figure maybe a fret leveling could be the cure, but you are saying it's the bridge aint located on the body right so that's buzz problem. Now I wish I would of kept my Epi Ace Custom.
