Israel crossed its own border 50 plus years ago and stole more land larger than the island of Ireland and bulldozed homes to illegally extend the country. Israel has used passports from neutral countries like Ireland and Sweden to assassinate people in the middle east. None of this would be possible without the support of the US UK and Germany. The people of these countries should be ashamed of there governments. USA and UK have the worst foreign policy in history.
Why does Ireland have such solidarity with Palestine? During Ireland's war of independence, then British Prime Minister David Lloyd George's government, with Winston Churchill's involvement, sent the murderous Black and Tan regiment to rape, pillage, and usurp our efforts to break away from Britain. Following our success in 1922, this special unit of the army, having failed, were sent directly to Palestine to ply their evil trade against the indigenous Arab population. Although, attributing the decision made by both Lloyd George and Churchill in this context may not be entirely accurate, being the presiding heads of state at the time, the responsibility lay solely on their heads for the actions of their security forces.
