@@normajean294hi ...sorry I took so long to reply. Lost your comment and took me till now to find it. I don't know that Ireland is involved. I can't say that we are able to stop what's happening. I do know when some countries defunded UNRWA that we added to our contribution. I think it's an empathy for people that are being occupied, delibrrately starved, incarcerated without even a nod to habes corpus, having their country carved up be a foreign yoke and called terrorists when they try to fight back... We have had 800 years of just wanting the occupiers to go. We have all but lost our language...it was driven out of us... At least the people of Palastine have that and their faith. If nothing else. So maybe it's an understanding from a shared experience. I've noticed a lot of Native American, and Maori support for Gaza.
