There is a soul food restaurant in my city that a lot of people go to because, unless you're going to cook greens, black eyed peas, oxtails etc. they're the best game in town. The service is TERRIBLE. I just had the woman misunderstand my order. You get a meat and 2 sides with a corn muffin. I got greens and black eyed peas with okra. I have ordered it the same way since Obama was in office and they scoop okra on the black eyed peas and send you on your way. this woman... she got confused as was evident by the fact that she made my order 2 times, setting it to the side ( once with okra on the greens... the next with greens in one container, okra in another and black eyed peas by themselves.) i would have been fine with that until they wanted to charge me $5.00 for an extra side. When i told the cashier, she got pissed. When she admonished the woman that made the food, she said " well, i didn't know... i am not a mind reader". i said" me either but, when i am confused, as you clearly were which ( i pointed) is why you have my side, also incorrectly made over there, i just ask the person. Lucky for you , i am standing here. They both looked at me appalled... the cashier just made it correctly, put the food in the window and made it clear by her body language she was glad i was leaving. it's that way EVERY time UNLESS one of the dudes make it. It's correct every time without fail because usually they write the sides on the fold over container so they don't forget
Can't dress well on interviews, the attitudes are reprehensible, the wigs and eyelashes are out of control... it's horrible. It used to be a stereotype but not anymore. And " standing on business" is going to be the demise of many
I don’t know why RU-vid deleted my previous comment. Anyway, they do these customer service jobs because those jobs are easy to get, don’t require much skills or physical hard labor. I quit working in retail/customer service all together because of them. The level of rudeness, craziness and disrespect is on a whole other level dealing with them! They’re miserable with who they are and take it out on everybody. They act the same way toward other Black women. Sometimes they do turn up the attitude when interacting with Black men. Sometimes it’s cause they’re lumping you in with every Black male who’s ever wronged them. But another big reason they do it is cause they know another woman might whip their @$$. But they’re usually banking on you, as a man, to show some restraint and not beat the breaks off them due to them being a female. They also know we live in a society where women are allowed to abuse men and get away with it. They act a little more polite when dealing with certain White customers cause they know there’s heavy consequences for acting a fool with certain White folks. If that White person looks poor and raggedy, trust me, they’re getting the same attitude you and I get.
IT could be that they are not differentiating among SERVICE, SERVANT and SERVITUDE. These are ALL different. They maybe lumping all together and interpreting it to be " they not nobody maid".....idk
I've even started avoiding them at the grocery checkout I'll gladly wait a few extra minutes just so someone else can ring up and bag my groceries, it's just not worth dealing with the stank attitude
You're repeating yourself because it's not that deep. No one believes Diddy is at the top but that doesn't absolve him of his wrongdoings that are documented and can be proven.
