Hi There! Selling ACA can absolutely be a part time job! Depending on the state you would like to sell in, there is one certification that is required, there are no carrier certifications, the average commissions are $20 per person per month, and Ritter has a dedicated ACA team that is available to assist with sales support, training, and marketing materials. For more assistance you can reach out to Sales Specialists at U65healthsupport@ritterim.com or our office at 800-769-1847.
I tried to follow the 48-hour waiting to a T, but another agent who called the prospect unsolicited got to the appointment FIRST. So much for CMS rules.
how much per person? I'm 38 yrs old male. No cancer. I rarely go to the dr actually. Spending $1,500 a month for a family of 4 when between us all we go maybe 5x to the doctor a year. Its wayyy more cost effective for us to pay out of pocket. But i want something that covers the wife and I in the event of a serious illness. Unfortunitly catastrophe only coverage is not allowed to people who are above 30 and make above poverty wages. Seems like cancer insurance maybe could be an option?
Great topic, i wondering if i want more in detail that compliance information. Do i need be register with your agency? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Good morning! Generally, yes, we prefer you are active with us. However, we do encourage you to send your questions to complianceofficer@ritterim.com and we will be able to answer your questions as appropriate! Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other question. Thank you!
Thank you for the information. I just need one clarification. I did not complete 2023 FFM: new to marketplace. However, I was able to complete 2024 FFM Certification. Being that I completed 2024 FFM Certification, but not 2023, would I be able to sell or rewrite policies for the remainder of the year with effective dates of October 1st November 1st December 1st 2023 or have to wait for November 1st?
Hello! If you completed the 2024 FFM Certification, you will be able to sell 2024 plans on October 1st. Since you didn't complete the 2023 certification, you won't be allowed to sell 2023 plans. If you have anymore question, feel free to reach back out! Thank you!
Goodnight, I tried register for the FFM certification. I am new agent for this period, this will be my first time to sale insurance. But during my registration I did not finish because the system was not able to verify my social security number. DoI have to contact the SSA. Please let me know. Thanks
Hello! After speaking with one of our sales reps, we recommend contacting AHIP directly, or choosing a different route to take, such as Aetna, Molina, Humana, etc. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach back out. Thank you!
Hello! We have a system called the Ritter Platform that will fulfill all your needs. Follow this link, www.ritterim.com/contact/ and someone will contact you as soon as possible! Thank you so much!
Hello thank you for the information! One question Im unsure about . So if an agent is appointed with a health carrier for other medical options i assume one can write ACA through them if they offer ACA correct? Do i need to do any additional work or contracting to sell aca with that carrier?
Hi there! You are correct, however, the aca contract is different so you will have to fill out new contracting specifically for that product. If you have any more questions, let us know!
Hi there! Here is an article that will explain the FFM Certification and will have links for you to complete the certification. www.ritterim.com/blog/2024-aca-exchange-ffm-certification-info/#aca-ebook
You have to login your portal CMS and follow your instructions. I did it fast in 3 hrs even though people said it's already closed. Do it fast before 2024 and sign up on Health Sherpa.
Hi there! This article will help answer your question! www.ritterim.com/blog/2024-maximum-broker-commissions-for-medicare-advantage-medicare-part-d/ If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!
Hello! If you’re questioning how you can become a supplier of durable medical equipment, we aren’t really able to touch on that subject. We suggest doing a quick search on Medicare.gov. This topic, and a wide variety of others like it, are covered in detail throughout their website. Thanks! www.medicare.gov/what-medicare-covers/what-part-b-covers/competitive-bidding-program
