did you remove the mill scale before welding, i am a newbie to stick welding , i find everyone over here saying how important it is to remove or else the weld will fail, just trying to learn welding and not getting the desired results.

Alright, here is the lead me here. Let's present it, to see if a) I get an answer and b) you read your comments...haha. As a kid, I worked in a service station. In those days, when you plugged a pneumatic tool, you had to pull the sleeve back, stick the male into the female and then let the sleeve loose. I guess it just happened so gradually that I did not notice that, over time, the need to pull back that sleeve to connect your tools went away. Gradually, the newer style where you could just jam in in without fooling with the sleeves replaced the kind that were normal when I was a kid in the 80s. I didn't notice until I replaced all of my air hoses this week, and bought some cheapo brass couplers for them. When I could not connect without pulling back that sleeve...I suddenly realized that this was the way 40 years ago, and that I hadn't had to do that for many years. So...back to Amazon. I don't know what words to look for to ensure that the couplers are "automatic," so I just went with the "Milton" brand name, assuming that the brand everyone likes so much will be selling the newest styles. So, the Milton S 715s are on their way. They will be here on Saturday. You are holding one in your hand. Did I get it right? Will these connect without the need to pull back the sleeve?

I know this is an old video but this saw has a crud blade brake that is controlled by some contacts under the cover top of the motor. when mine starts coasting like that I blow compressed air under the cover and it usually fixes it. Some time I have to pull the cover and clean the contacts. You should hear three clicks and the motor step down in speed each time then coast to a stop.

@@BigDaddyOworkshop I know man, and Im not crafty like that. Only with music and computers! I'll try though. Everytime I do decide to do something new, what makes it so hard for me at first is materials and tools. So with that being said, I need to make sure I have everything. Otherwise its gonna take even more time to buy whats needed!

Wow! What a great set up you have there! I'm sure you know what you're doing, but each time you leaned over that running saw to grab your trimmed piece of wood I wanted to look away. I guess that's how it's done, but if something made you suddenly slip forward (yeah, I suppose that's unlikely), the damage would be irreparable. I'm not your Mom, so I don't mean to sound like it, but that open blade is pretty frightening! Enjoyed the video (other than THAT)! Thanks for sharing!

Law of Attraction. The rule is, everything you want, you will find, in miraculous "unexpected ways." It is a law of manifestation. Do you still have this saw?? Do you like it more than the Dewalt saws? Nobody seems to appreciate the Craftsman or Delta saws. I am really tempted to get one of these Delta models.

Super cool idea. I used to use the samples from the stores as coasters, but this a better idea. Inadvertently, this has solved another problem of mine - I can use this technique to make circles in my Vinyl for my Pool Table legs. 2 in 1 solution. But how much heat can these coasters take?

very nice results / elegant and simple design / good workmanship! You might find yourself making more of those - strong flip-up tables could be useful elsewhere. If you want to reduce the lateral movement, some washers as shims would tighten things up.

Don’t forget about the transmission problems too. The antifreeze mixes with the trans fluid due to a bad radiator. Nissan knew of the issue. Instead of doing a recall and replacing the radiator, they did nothing which caused the transmission to go as well. Way to screw your customers Nissan! No more Nissans for me.

How much will this timing chain repair cost me? I'm so upset right now that I could just cry. I always just thought that was just the way that it sounded. I've heard that whining since 2018 when I first bought it!!! I just spent $3600 last week to replace the transmission because of SMOD and right now today it's at the shop having the fuel level sensor done because of P0463. I'm with you Nissan Never again!!

@rae8tytherealest 2 года назад
😅 I had this same issue thankfully continental transmission knew this and was able to still get the recall number for the parts on a 2007 in 2018 😯 they fixed my trucks transmission but service drive dropped the ball. I paid for a new radiator before the transmission was repaired come to find out service drive charged me and never replaced the radiator which almost cause the same issue with transmission failure. Thank goodness for RU-vid videos like these because I’d be oblivious and janky mechanics would still be charging me for repairs they never fixed 🤦🏾‍♀️ All that said my Xterra has 229k+ miles on it and runs great just mostly minor repairs needed every so often.
