I went to a pretty nice rifle range and got a warning because I was firing too rapidly with my 10-22 that has practically no recoil

The problem with that range is the loser recording himself trying to be important

I love that the range fudds have some arbitrary shot/sec timer in their head instead of actually recognizing the shooters that are in control and serious about it, allowing them to train at their level. Those are the guys that pay the range bills, and it seems like they're trying to shove us out. 0 self awareness, usually just a goofy ass power trip.

Not in Texas. I pay an extra $20 for a private range lane. I can rapid fire, use my FRT, SBR and supressor. I love Texas.

This is just outside of Austin, TX. Lonestar Range & Academy. It’s a decent range but the pistol bay rules were kinda lame.

This is an actual problem, I know multiple people who avoid going to practice at ranges because RSO’s have left such a bad taste to their range experience, so instead of practicing in a safe environment they resort to shooting in the woods or late at night on a backroad.

Tell them and then stop bringing them your money.

From outside appearance my range looks like a fudd range. Its run by a bunch of old guys, most of the members are old guys. Nobody cares how fast you shoot as long as you arent being a jackass and we have matches every saturday morning. The only rate of fire rule is no full auto

Issue is that the local clientel probably cant be trusted not to send them over the backstop. Just takes one dummy for the range to have a lot of legal trouble, so it ruins it for us who dont need three seconds to walk the sight back to the target

The range I go to is like 50 acres and nobody is ever there. The owner lives on the property but he doesn’t give a single fuck what anyone does. It’s awesome
