Schön,diesen Vorentscheid nochmal zu sehen.Insgesamt tolles Niveau,kein Wunder dass 🇩🇪 in diesen Jahren so erfolgreich war. Ich hatte damals tatsächlich auch Paola auf Platz 1, Nun sag schon Adieu von Hannes Schöner war einer meiner Favoriten,auch Mary Roos und David Hanselmann hatte ich noch vor Nicole. Das „Blacky“Fuchsberger und sein Sohn Thomas ein so tolles Lied getextet und komponiert haben,hatte ich nicht mehr auf‘m Schirm.Gesungen von Jürgen Marcus.Man so einen Vorentscheid hat das NDR nie hinbekommen. Interessant das Nicole genau wie 5 Wochen später in Harrogate den letzten Startplatz gelost hat.

The year of Jan Jingryd. I remember in the preview programme, before the contest he butchered the Norwegian song and artist. Then he went on to change his mind completely when he introduced Norway and during the voting you can hear the shock he had when Norway does well with the juries.
So happy to finally get to see some ESC with comments from RTE 😊 I hope you have some more years from RTE. I have only seen 1970, 1976 and 1985. Would especially love to see the rest of the 1980s and 1990s.

Very pretty song...but the chorus doesn't really deliver for me after a promising beginning. And those two late key changes are not great. Surprised it was deemed the favourite.
