1 x Band (pronounced Ena x Band) were a Slovenian band consisting of Cole Moretti, Andrej Bedjanič, Tomaš Kozec, Brane Vidan, Barbara Šinigoj and Sandra Zupanc.
In 1993, 1 x Band took part in the Slovenian preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest, the EMA. They won this round ahead of Darja Švajger by just nine votes, meaning they were allowed to represent Slovenia in the competition. However, as Slovenia wanted to take part for the first time in 1993 alongside six other countries, they had to go through the Eastern European preliminary round "Kvalifikacija za Millstreet", which 1 x Band won with their song "Tih deževen dan" (A Quiet, Rainy Day). In the final of the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Millstreet in Ireland, they only reached 22nd place out of 25 participants.
The groupwas active from 1991 to 1997. During this time, they released two CDs with RTV Slovenia’s ZKP and a single with Jupiter records (Germany). They also performed at Mak-fest in Macedonia in 1993. In 2001, Cole Moretti’s band 1X Orchestra took part in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
