I had 6 bypass in 5 arteries I’m a non smoker never smoked my cholesterol was normal.i was 64 years old at the time no heart issues ever I had just had back surgery at UC Lad was 100% blocked everything else was 90% I ended up having a stemi heart attack I had a great surgeon he came from New York presbyterian Hospital he used all arteries I was lucky to have suitable arteries because he said usually you would have peripheral artery disease, and my other arteries were wide open UC saved my life it’s a great hospital
In April of this year 2024 I had a massive heart attack they did four bypasses on me fixed all the arteries placed me into a coma for two days then I spend two weeks in the cardiac care unit

I had an ablation 22 years Ago, repeated 5 times. Its amazing to see how technology has evolved allowing ablation to be done SO quickly. I spent 15 hrs on the table while doctors where trying to identify the spot in my heart just looking at the electrocardiographs.
A I assisted in these in 1980 as a medical student at Miami heart Institute. I worked with Dr Fovelaro's fellow from Argentina. It was relatively new then and the advancements in procedures over the years is amazing. Dr. Darbinian is Highly skilled and I thank him for giving us the opportunity to observe this.
I am 39 and have been having palpitations for 10-15 years and the last 8 years I have been eating beta blockers and now during the last year I have had a bot of these so they decided to do this to me.. They are doing this in about three weeks, and I need to be awake during this procedure... Yeah, I am a bit terrified for this.
Had my CABG x3 just over a week ago . I am just in awe as to the skill and professionalism of these surgeons. They are not recognised enough, heroes in my opinion.
Absolutely amazing to watch. How ridiculously and amazingly made are we. I'm a builder who spends many weeks and months designing and building a structure to live in, how much more complex is this. It makes one ask who was the builder of this structure..... Just asking !
