Yeah, but english speaking people always do this with foreign names, I've noticed. They never pronounce it how the name is supposed to be pronounced in the language/country of its origins, but the "english way" instead. Like I guarantee that Eurydice is also not supposed to be pronounced like "yureedeesee".
It makes no sense for Charybdis to be the boss of the Rift of Thessaly because it's supposed to end on the shore and she's a deep sea monster. And there's so much setup for Eris to be barring your path to Olympus, and her arena is very her. It would be such a chore to make that an early access only thing.
I wanna build around Zeus dash boon it does very good damage if mana can support it! Also need the duo between Aphrodite and Zeus so you can do the 200% dash on enemies with the zeus debuff 🤔
now if only we didn't get scammed by the game by 1. actually activating Serenity like we thought they would and 2. no rolling Charybdis for whatever reason we might not technically know yet LOL
@@elGonho We're thinking that Charybdis is technically gonna be the Biome 2 Final Boss and Eris might be moved to Biome 3 or something, so it's already coded as a major boss :P
Thanatos Aspect also has a similar problem to Circe, where the Omegas (outside of Zeus Omega Casts, where it does work as specified) will only accrue a single percentage for any one activation of your Omega, rather than for each hit, as the text states. So it feels kinda not worth it right now, even with how strong and fun it is
Only if you get either the free spin hammer, or the spin forward hammer, which somehow makes the whole omega attack counts as only one "projectile / hit"

The build looks incredible, maybe the Serenity can be stacked really quickly with Double Moonshot as second hammer? Although it could take a while to get to that second hammer, idk
Haelian, out of all the special character rooms (Arachne, Narcissus, Echo, Hades, Medea, Circe), who do you think offers the best boons/offerings in this game?
@@SAVAGENEDVEDYes, he does, but I'd argue Echo is still universally stronger. Icarus can roll and you can wind up with an invention you might not be able to get a lot of value out of whereas Echo is almost always major upside.
@@ikelos8190it clears slip not scorching. It is not that shit because it probably deals a lot of damage. You can have a third god for the third curse which can help.
Got my first Chronos win with this build! Not the fully maxed out version as I'm not there yet but even with only one level in Momus and basic level privileged status, I made it through! As I am not very good, I did have to use some death defiances but only two. Now I'm going to do the same with Soot Scorch for the dash and try to finally take out Eris who has been kicking my ass.
Can’t agree with the fists rankings. For me Zag fist is the worst aspect in game because it plays almost the same way as Demeter fist but lack the burst. All other Zag aspects are unique in some way but Zag fists probably only outperforms Talos/Demeter in 100% dodge run. The damage buff from Talos is lackluster but the pulling effect is very helpful when used correctly, solving the range problem of fists attacks. Definitely better than Zag fists if you just want to focus on attack damage. Overall I think fists aspects are poorly designed, too similar to each other. Need to spam attack 90% of the time for all 3 normal aspects and the hidden aspect is just bad.
I found myself taking Hephy's boon quite often, because I really like Static Shock build and have been trying it with all weapon aspects. But Hephy's boons themselves are somewhat underwhelming I think, unless you high roll rarity on them and pom a little more since they don't scale with your weapon/hammer.
Having a good sense of what build to go for is key in the game. I am a mechanically poor player in games like Hades but I was able to finish the game in 11 attempts with the shield
Id like to point out, that if you reach Tartarus and you are incredibly strong and know you can beat Chronos easily. You could take the extra rooms just to get more gold for Charon to buy materials you might still need for incantations etc.
to me hephie is much like ares, where it seems great on your first few attempts and may even get you places, but as you move on you'll inevitably realize that other gods synergize with most playstyles and aspects so, *so* much better than him
U can also buy a Charon buff that makes your next Charon well duration last 2 guardians, then buy chimaera jerky for the 40% special at any Charon well after the sirens that will last till the end of the game. And you can also stack multiple copies of this. Easy damage for 135g
IT HAS TO BE THE TRIALS. Hephy got displeased in the trials and now he can't offer duos. You could only get duo's from the non-heph god. Exact same thing happened in that other run where you basically went through every boon and then got the duo from the other god. And earlier on you had also made that god grow displeased. Nothing else makes sense i don't think.
If there is a glitch, maybe it isn't with the codex requirements. Maybe you can't have both Hephy/Hestia duo and Hephy/Apollo? That wouldn't make sense, but apparently the requirements are right and Super Nova is one of the boons that can be used. Assuming you didn't just get super unlucky.
