I was trying to make this zeus + demeter combo yesterday and I it turns out that zeus omega cast charges up thanatos aspect crit chance, so you can get to 20% crit chance so much faster than attacking is actually insane

I got a voice line from Hera the other day while I was playing that called back to choosing her second in a trial. I have no idea if it had any effect on anything, but she mentioned me spurning her on the last run. Thought that was kinda cool to include.

i got an amazing build that would be cool for you to try, you go poseidon attack and sprint on the axe, and get psychic whirlwind and mint condition from hephy, you just sprint around and destroy everything in each room while being completely invulnerable, its super fun

What if they add a marathon run? Like you start going through the Underworld and immediately go to the Surface? Can't change your boons or weapons.

To return to an old Hades favourite - have you considered a full splash dash run? Poseidon dash, Apollo Gain for the duo. Not sure what would be best to add to that to bring the damage up for bosses but it was a lot of fun at taking out mobs

The Apollo beams after the cast indeed don't follow you, they just stay where you were the moment your cast detonates.

The frog does help with blocking the polymorph shot

6:28 I thought chat was trolling but i guess they never tried. The frog is great for that boss fight because it blocks the sheep hex and the other small projectiles but not the waves she sends at you.

I'm not sure exactly how it works but when you get sheeped, you can spam dodge, attack and special and you move way faster. Theres like an extra dodge animation. Maybe sheep has a dash strike?

So it’s apparently possible to get up to 5 hammers in a run at peak luck If you hold off on getting hammers until stage 3 it’s possible to get one right before echo And with her repeat of your last reward thing you can get a 3rd hammer Then use the angel to get another to your total as well as Icarus keepsake And you have 5 hammers

I think the surface final boss might be another Titan, my guess is Hyperion since Hades mentioned him in the last game and says he was worse than Chronos, the question is why Hyperion would team up with and follow orders from Chronos.

One of the worst things about Selune is that using her hexes has a decently long animation and slows the run down alot. Makes tight deadline even scarier it feels unjustifiable considering her hexes aint super strong. Hope they change that in 1.0

I was waiting for you to try this combo!! My first 24 heat run was using Thanatos Axe with Zeus cast, I killed Cerberus in 3 casts, I thought you were sleeping on Zeus cast. The Thanatos aspect goes HARD with Zeus, place the cast, walk away so you don’t take damage, and kill EVERYTHING.

Funniest build I've done so far is fully AFK kill Eris. Malice in Kind from Medea (every DD used makes the enemy that caused it lose 15% hp) + Icarus' Destructive Coating (+40 armor, losing it does 4,000 dmg to a nearby enemy), I think the Zeus on-hit boon that has a chance to multi-proc, and some dodge + damage reduction boons.

final boss on the surface are the corrupted fates, it has to be someone that is associated with Entropy as we need to craft it so we can stop Chronos. One of our main missions are to find the fates, yet they are nowhere to be seen. Thats my theory at the moment

winter harvest does work, you just have to freeze them. the lines are raw as hell

Frinos helps a lot IMO. He blocks ranged attacks(which includes Hecate's morph spell) as base, but he also gets a damage upgrade that damages enemies he lands on. It's nothing crazy but you don't have to run across the map to activate him. Toula is definitely a cat. 50% of the time they are cute, 45% of the time they are annoying/useless, and 5% they actually do something useful.

One thing I want to see if you can cheese is Hera’s sacrifice boon. I got it working really well with a Hephaestus attack boon - got the blast going off every two seconds.

Has Haelian done a Heartthrob run yet? I tried to do an Island Getaway Momus run (Aphro special) and couldn't get Double Moonshot, but the Apollo/Aphro duo totally saved the run. Damage on Eris from triple Heartthrobs was kinda nutty tbh

My fav atm is the heph triple hammer on casts with either of the ranged cast. Dont need to channel and can just chuck them at range.

Is "12+ Gods" confirmed? All I can think about is how that would up the number of Duo Boons from 29 to 67 (counting Zeus/Hera's asymmetric boon as two), as if that one prophecy wasn't hard enough to get... I know they said all the Olympians that were present in the original game would "return" for this game, but did they say "as main boon Gods"? I assumed they just meant that Ares, Athena and Dionysus would be involved with the Surface, perhaps showing up like Artemis does or acting like Arachne/Narcissus/etc. do. Also, I bet there will be a final boss, accessible after casting the Dissolution of Time spell, that will require interacting with the Remains of Time he leaves behind after you beat him. Whether it will simply be one more boss or a fifth region, I'm not sure, but that's my bet. And I would bet ANYTHING that Charybdis is really just a sub-boss for the Rift and that Eris is the boss of the Rift. It does not make sense that they would release a boss in such an unfinished state and weirdly jam them in halfway through the region they're supposed to be the Guardian for. The giant health bar doesn't mean anything: Uh-Oh has the health bar too, and in Charybdis's case, it's a way to communicate to the player that killing the tentacles is inflicting meaningful damage and progressing the fight, rather than just "killing adds". There's zero chance Charybdis is supposed to be the Rift's Guardian, and even less chance that Eris will be the final Guardian of the Surface, given that they already have her arena set at the foot of the mountain. It just does not make sense for them to shuffle things around that way, versus the Rift being functionally complete.

How Kronos slips into a "demon voice" sometimes makes me think it could be a hint that you'll fight him on top of Mt. Olympus as his ultimate form kind of thing. Charybdis could end up being the 2nd boss but I also kind of see them as like the King Vermin mini boss. Where they're not quite a boss but also more then a mini-boss

What are the "slots" for the cast? I'm so confused about whether freeze or cyclone is the "cast" slot for demeter, and which boons you can stack. It seems like most gods have an "omega cast" boon too, are those exclusive with each other?

I had a run where I had both the Axe hammer that causes your Omega Special to fire twice, as well as the Apollo Legendary that causes your Omega Special to fire twice, and I'm not convinced the effects stacks. It seemed like it still just went off only twice. Unfortunate, given that both increase the magick cost, and the Axe hammer also increases the time it takes to fully channel.

The Demeter Legendary unfortunately doesn't seem to work AT ALL against Chronos, I had it against Cerberus and she did a voice line for him. Meanwhile at the Chronos fight I waited for him to be low HP and THEN applied Freeze so that it's not on anti-Freeze CD, and still it didn't proc the Winter Harvest.

would be cool if the armour keepsake changed the hp you gained when leaving a location to armour or something

Try zeus infusion with arctic ring and gale force from demeter, makes your cast do like 300 dmg per second. Also allows easy blitz procs

How do you check the Olympians boons? I tried every button I could with the notebook open and nothing popped up. Is it only when your in the middle of a run?

If you're doing a cast build it could be worth to buy armor in advance in case you get the dress

Just tried this with Apollo duo with Demeter and Hermes was kind enough to get me -60% on omega cast magick use. Cronos barely touched me lmfao

Local climate is good for this cast because most of the time you only place it on one enemy it dies then your just waiting for it to expire to use it on another enemy

Idk wouldn't make any sense for chary to be a boss given it doesn't give a boss reward, doesn't show up consistently etc. Uh-Oh and Chary are parallels. Idk why people keep saying Chary is or would be a boss given what we see.

I think the third boss will be one of Chronos' champions leading the assault on Olympus (so not Eris), and the fourth surface boss will be a corrupted Olympian or the Fates.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the final boss for the surface turns out to be Zag or Persephone, and they’re working for Chronos under duress to protect their family.

Idk Local Climate kinda ruined the build. You're supposed to be safe from a distance with your Omega Cast deployed away from you but Local Climate forces you to be up close to the bosses which sets you up to get hit in return

i hate selene. often times i just die immediately to get a run with literally ANY other boon. her hex's are barely effective in any given scenario and are often gimicky extra buttons that have the illusion of fun. nothing effective about them and not a single one of my runs was built around her nor used her in a way that i could say wouldnt have been successful without her. worst addition to hades 2 imo. they should've just put her has a pseudo ares buff or had her be her own type of pre run altar spec.

i think the problem with demeter's legendary is that it just shatter foes while they are freeze and chronos is practically cant be freeze
