You two seem to be about to build in a flood zone. I think you are going to need a "large enough" cement pond and some moat works around your house...engineered for drainage, obviously. If you think about it enough you might even be able to swim in it, water your animals and plants, or even dual purpose it as a garden of sorts. Heck you might even get some hydro power out of it! P.S. The surfing was a bonus!
Riley Whitelum got cut while fending off monkeys from his family and he had to get painful shots. No monkeying around, don’t trust them. It reminds me of the people that go feed the wild pigs and think oh they are so cute when the pigs could rip them to pieces like they did the Home Health Nurse by Houston, Texas when she went to a patient’s house. 😱👍✌️
If you intend to build a house you have to dig a lot of ditches to divert the water away. If you are going to build a house, you need to make strong steel and concrete foundations for it. Another option is the so-called Thai house built on stilts due to floods.
Hey Matt, I actually spit out my coffee after the line about the knee pads! That was hilarious!! Love watching your videos and congrats on getting married!
While I thoroughly enjoy watching y'all develop that little piece of jungleland can you guys end your videos with about 30 seconds worth of the goats playing. I mean who doesn't love baby goats.
Been watching for a few years. Going back and catching some of the older videos. Kristen is one hot mama. You're a lucky a man Matt. I know y'all are married now. Looking forward to the next Puerto Rico video.
Oh man I was wondering what happened to you guys. You guys real good with each other. So very important to respect one another and care for one another.I bet you miss sailing Hope you get back out there
the foam on engine is a good ideal but i use wood staples thin one with plastic washer to secure it.. also, i would throw some staples in the veneer wood you glued throughout boat ... nice work thou
Have you checked into your local area for building & zoning dept. you should definitely reach out to a local land surveyor and get a survey if you haven’t already, they may also be able to recommend a local engineer for getting a site plan and building designs prepared. Possibly they’re laid back on there on building zoning codes, but either way a survey and site plan is a good first step.
Now that you’ve put some time into masonry work, you should consider rebuilding the original structure into possibly a small gate house building. If nothing else it would be a great little guest accommodations or maybe a place for a property care taker in the future.
