Why make any more changes? Thomas is very handsome the way he is. If he were mine, I wouldn't change anything, I love him as he is now. After all.... Thomas, we love you the way you are.
I really want to commend the face mold that you have for the engine, absolutely stellar. It looks straight out of the RWS books, yet still iconically Thomas to be recognizable to those only familiar with the show. Bravo!
He looks great, and with how good the cab beading looks, you really ought to scrape all the edges and beading (kinda like how Flying Scotsman looked at Wembley in 1924-25) and the boiler bands would look really nice with the edges scraped to be bare metal (which is in the RWS in some illustrations)! I also think you may be able to get/make a pair of decently sized whistles that have the classic recognisable double tone.
@@davidwhiting1761 look at a photo of Flying Scotsman at Wembley in early 20s, every edge and small section/strip was polished metal, which I think would look really good on Thomas here. I've seen people make some very good sounding whistles at surprisingly small scales, and if all else fails, ones at an octave higher could be atop the boiler with ones at the right pitch hidden from view.
I used to watch this channel long ago when I was younger! Since then, I sometimes found myself looking for it again, but always fell short, and assumed it to be deleted. Never thought that I’d find it still making videos to this day! If the owner see this, thanks for the memories.
All they need to do is add a wheel splasher, although I can see why they don't with what looks like the lubricator being right there. But remember, folks, for legal purposes this is "Arthur". Any resemblance to other existing characters is strictly coincidence😆. Shame it's got to be that way. It really is a nice looking stand in for Thomas.
Makes me wonder why they can't just make a modern e2 tank engine cuz none of the full scale replicas are the same as the book and shows if you goingbfor real life look alike it needs to be an exact copy of the original just like this one is
I love this! This is so cool! Just about a month ago my dad(the one who unintentionally got me into model engines) and I were watching a video about a 38-mile railway in about this gauge, and i said it would be a dream to see it with thomas characters on it And here this is! I love it!
