I used to play this song to my youngest daughter when she was a baby and danced with her round the room. It comes on sometimes when I’m doing the washing up and she comes to hug me when she hears it and says “I’m always with you for this one”. I haven’t seen my daughters for over 3 months now and this song makes me well up. I hope I get to hear it with them again one day x
What a lovely tune lads 👏🏽 bringd me back to a good time, would be sweet to cyas blast it one more time (at least!) of a Tuesday on the corner there, if you know what I mean, witch you do 🍉 Sláinte, grá ☘️ xX
The end of an era. As an American, I remember the joy I felt in discovering your music and eventually making my way to Ireland and the UK where I would often play your songs while busking. It's been a joy to have you lads' music a part of my life. God bless you in your future pursuits. The music lives on.
I cannot put into words how this song and Hudson Taylor has influenced my life and help me navigate so many uncertain seasons in my life. I can't thank you enough for taking all the steps and risks to put yourselves out there. Some of my darkest night, and lonliest hour to my some of my greatest highlights, you were there. You will leave a mark in my future. Thank you. Sad I never made the choice to fly out to hear y'all live in the last 10 years of listening to y'all, but I hope you find great peace and joy in the next 10!
Sad to see you go but will definitely follow your solo projects! I found you on RU-vid back in 2007 or earlier, the blogtv days. I took a guy to see you on Valentine's day 2019 in Minneapolis, for our third ever date... Now we are married and expecting our first baby. Lots of memories with your music!
Your music has always meant a lot to me. I'm lucky to have seen you live back in 2018 in New York. It's so rare to find such beautiful and lyrically meaningful songs these days. So sad to see you guys close Hudson Taylor 😞 Wishing you all the best!! x
"I don't wanna let you go!" Thank you for more than a decade of memories. So glad to have seen and met you both on the US tour. Cheers to the future! See you there :)
It was my youngest who introduced me to your music, and we actually met you at the old Oxford Street H_M_V .......seen you live .........good luck in your future ventures........always in our Hearts ❤
Aaah lads this is sad news indeed. Thanks for being on my chunky ipod back in the day through hundreds of college bus journeys from Monkstown to Kilkenny (Also that Ballykeefe Summer session a couple of years ago was just magic!), from parties, to new relationships and the endings of them. To smoking a cigarette outside at 4am when the house party ends. In 2014 near the campus, wondering whether to sleep or power through and still make that 9am lecture. Sombre and newly single, sipping cheap wine with some friends looking at the brightening Spring skies and a hopeful tomorrow, with World Without You on the speaker. Core memories made even though many of those who were there at the time are out there living their own lives, living happily I hope. The best to them and to you guys :)
I live on the other side of the world and seeing you guys perform live has been on my bucket list for years. sad it will probably never happen now :( oh well on to new dreams
Thank you for blessing us with your music ❤ wishing you both the best in your new adventures ❤ Your music and my memories from attending your shows will last a lifetime xoxo
This was my favourite song when I was around 17-18, and now I’m 30! Listening to it brings me back to some really good memories. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work together, I can’t wait to see what you both do in the future 💕
Broke my heart to see your email. You guys are real and have real talent and I’m so sorry it did not work out this industries climate. Thank you for this last gift. Means the world, especially being the first studio recording. The good old days when you guys gave me the words to describe my heart
I first was introduced to your music at a YSI schools event about 12 years ago!! I was hooked immediately, what great memories. I saw you live in the Olympia once and it’s still one of the best gigs I’ve been at. Wishing you both all the success and happiness x
What a journey! Very sad to see you go but excited to follow your journeys into the future. I'm sure big and beautiful things await you. All the love in the world, good luck gents 💖💖
Hudson Taylor will surely one day be back and we can enjoy all those memories once again, we might be slightly older but you guys will entertain us all once again. Never say Never. The World needs Hudson Taylor and the wonderful music you make.
Thank you so much for the music. I am actually listening to this wearing my Singing for Strangers Tour t-shirt! I'm going to miss you guys but I wish you all the best for the future ❤️
One of my first ever concerts was to see you and Lewis Watson play. It holds such good memories for me and this is my absolute favourite song of yours. Sad to see Hudson Taylor go, but excited for your new projects 🥰
my solo trip to see you guys for the first time is Scariff will never be topped - I stepped off the bus and heard you sound checking Chasing Rubies in the square and I'll never forget it. It was such a blessing to then get to catch you so many times at Galway shows in the years after. Best of luck for the future! Thank you, and I'll miss you
I first heard this song when I was a teenager. I got so into it that I made sure everyone around me knew it. I still remember walking to school with my best friend and singing it together. I will cherish these memories forever. Thank you for making such a beautiful song <3
Guys I can’t thank you enough for your music these past 10+ years! You both have opened up a whole new world to me both from your music and the friends I have made from all over Europe from the gigs and events It has been a honour to have been here since the early H&A days and I can’t wait to listen and watch you again at another gig soon 🧡
Heard you playing the main stage, supporting the Stones, in Hyde Park, way back on the hottest day of the year 13th July 2013 - sheer quality. Wishing you the very best continuing life's journey, lifting others and sharing the sounds.
I choose to think of this as a new beginning, rather than an end to anything. Excited to see what the future brings and your part in it. Thank you Harry! Thank you Alfie!
Wow, haven't listened to this song in yonks! What a welcome newsletter in my inbox. Change is the nature of things, and it seems the music industry is a very strange place. Glad you are taking your next steps forward ♥
Your songs were a red line in my teenage years but still now I can connect them with things that happen in my life. I want to thank you guys for help me in life with your songs. I wish you the best and i will keep listen to Hudson Taylor!
