I had this side-to-side with a 2010 Sony Bravia I got for 25€ with a MacMini for another 25€, and would get the older combination any time. First the 2010 is FullHD with 1:1 pixel perfect playback of 1080p content from Blu Ray (24p) and HD aerial TV (50p) and RU-vid (30/60p). On the newer I don't see that 4-seconds blackout on framerate switches, so I doubt it renders all as intended and just motion-blurs everything into 200Hz or so. Also I was amazed how good it works with game consoles, using the TV remote as console remote without seting things. I really loathe the data harvesting of Android/Tizen TV's nowadays, the Mini just has an adblocker on everything. And I would ditch the remote when it had an Amazon Prime button. I loathe that company.
Is true that it can output 1080i? or even somehow some processed 1080p something resolution like it is mentioned on official Sony webpage??? Thank you.
It can show 1080p content but it's up scaled since native panel is 720p no big difference personally unless you sit real close like using it as pc monitor no recommend it for that use.
I'm wondering how it works in a family where everyone have their own google accounts. Is there support for multiple accounts depending on who is watching?
Can you tell me if there is any backlight bleed on the blacks in the corners when you watch the television in a darker setting and if so how bad is it. I know Samsung sets can be terrible for it.
@Adrian B for me the quality and colors are great and totally destroy the competition, but the way I was satisfied was to test them at the store(watching RU-vid)
@@whocares2465 yeap got it and overall I'm very satisfied. Only downside is the 720p limit but with 1 and meter distance no visible difference with 1080p. Colors and contrast is outstanding for it category. Using mostly for streaming movies and ps4. On ps4 exclusive games hdr is really good performance vibrant colors and shadows although no very bright (peak brightness) on movies /series with hdr isn't so good but colors still vibrant and good red in price range 300 €/$ has no competition big plus the software and almost frequently updates, now running Android tv 11 latest security patch October
@@whocares2465 exactly that when saw it on store next to other 32' Sony was the most color accurate and compared to 1080p same size couldn't notice dramatic difference
THIS IS AMAZING!!! And you were so close to the front too! I was at the back but I met Jono, Liam and Mark after so not complaining. :) THANK YOU for uploading it too (there's not enough vids from this years set). lol.
