Great video, I m going with my family to paris from London in mid August on my own car after that want to go to Switzerland for 3 nights. Please advise route and area and for return journey?
We are glad that you found it useful. From Paris you can drive towards Nancy to avoid a lot of toll roads. It is a longer journey but you can detour to Strasbourg for a day so win win. Or you can stop in Troyes in France, it is very beautiful. There are so many options available for your return journey, depending on how much time you want to spend for your return journey, from Switzerland it is a nice and easy drive to Germany where you have plenty of family friendly places to visit and then from Germany we love to stop in Belgium before going back to the uk. A delicious waffle in Bruges is a fantastic way to finish your journey. Check out our Baden-Württemberg video from Germany for some examples of places to see in the area for inspiration. Stopping in the area makes the journey more manageable if you decide to drive using Switzerland- Germany - Belgium route. This is a good alternative to visit multiple places on the same journey. Enjoy your holiday! Switzerland it is a gem, expensive but a great place to visit.
@@AllWeekendsAway when u went to Switzerland u went through motorway if yes how much u paid for tolls if not what’s route and map u had and also what city u stayed in Switzerland?
The Ferries are a rip off and so is the car parking in the isle of Wight. We were over in June and have noticed how the amount of visitors have dropped over the years.
We agree with the ferry prices as for almost same amount of money you can travel to Europe using Le Shuttle but again the festival is pushing all prices over the roof..still it is a nice place, but yes a shame that it can be overpriced at times...
That's a similar route we take going to Roses, Costa Brava. We go Rouen-Chartres-Orleon-Clermont Ferrand. We use to stop at Issoire as well. Very nice campsite. You can fill up with cheap(er) fuel at the Carrefour, across the otherside of the motorway
Thank you this was very informative, we always stop at a lay by at bala before heading off to barmouth for our holidays but would love to camp there too... looks great. ❤
At last, I found one great video about this attraction.thank you so much as it helped me understand the whole place in all this detail or else I might of missed visiting here
