Great Review! I just watched this movie and it quickly became my favorite anime film and has changed my outlook on life glad to see people acknowledging this masterpiece!
This Anime is so good it makes me cry and I really want it to come back,This Anime is very incredible and deserves to come back and it was one of the few that made me cry The manga ended in 2019 With 12 volumes in total and until today 2023 waiting for the second season of this beautiful thing as well as Others Animes that didn't get a sequel, who's also waiting until today? 🥹🙏🥺🤧 #ReturnPocoGaoGao Like and Bye!
copyright claims forced me to chop this video up sadly. Not much I could do since I cant replace the video. This is the only one on my channel like that though!
Wow, this is a great video. I liked this show well enough but now looking back on it I think it's better than I realised with these underlying themes it contains. I especially like the metaphor you pointed out with the river and Akane stopping on the last rock and that being representative of her hesitation and anxiety towards the future. I didn't catch that while watching the scene and I think that's a great metaphor. Another thing I only realized once you pointed it out was when Kotarou changed which drink he was getting since Akane was there. I think that's a nice little detail that went over my head. Anyways, Thanks. You made me appreciate this show more in a short 4 minutes and I'm thankful for that.
When they talk about a murderer randomly killing people I thought it was random but it was foreshadowing. It's one of those moments where you thought they will die from their illness but instead it was murder, an accident or a gun shot, something like that.
i just watched this, i late to the party. but it was amazing and watching these videos make me wish i could watch it right now without knowing anything
I laughed when you said, "Three-Gatsu", not "San-Gatsu", but I really love this series. In the years I have watched anime, I have watched hundreds of anime. But I can confidently say that this anime is really in the top 3 of the best anime I've ever watched. Every episode, I always shed tears, emotions, reflections, and then WOAHHH!!!. This anime is not enough to be called a masterpiece, but it is more than that.
I'm part of the crew that felt this show took the wrong route with how to make Machi happy. It very much feels like the solution comes from a person that doesn't sound understand that these social phobias may be cute as a child but turn into a legitimate issue when someone is an adult. I feel like they chose the government approved method of handling social phobias.
I loved this video! I stumbled across this anime when looking for a romance and fell in love with it so thank you for bringing some attention to it. Love you channel, definitely subscribing.
@@Zentagon it felt like it was a very "japanese" approach to mental health issues. Which is basically just browbeating and pressuring them into doing the stuff thats convenient for themselves that might be harmful for the person facing the issue. Then having the end where they just go along with it because they get what they wanted is just on the nose. "Hey sure shes traumatized and regressed, but now she wont leave, so its all good right?"
I actually thought about it around the time I made this video! Maybe I'll go back and see if I can craft something up for Asobi Asobase in the future. Keep an eye out!
Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy all Danbo related content you run into! I'd also possibly recommend the Danbo animations over on the dwarf inc channel too!
Will definitely consider it if I find another anime that is underrated that resonates with me! I have definitely talked about anime that is definitely less popular / underrated in other videos.
@@Zentagon just watching it, but I have to say 1st season is great but the season 2 was suck, season 3 is kinda little bit good but not great enough than the original. After season 2, they also release the movie: Psycho Pass the Movie and Psycho Pass Sinners of the System is a trilogy film before season 3. After season 3 they continue the series into a movie called Psycho Pass 3: First Inspector. That anime was too dark (season 1 & 2) while season 3 is less one.
Admittedly I'm not much of a "seasonal anime watcher," I tend to only hear about things through the grapevine and watch things if I'm heavily interested. I might one of these shows a watch, though. 2021 overall has a few big shows that seem great, though. In particular, the horse racing one sounds like one of those "so weird it can only be done in anime" kind of concepts, which I've been enjoying more and more lately. I used to reject the "weird" side to anime when I was younger, opting for more serious shows, but lately I've been learning to embrace this stuff, or, "How I stopped worrying and learned to love 'moe.'" :p If I can throw any out for consideration, Shaman King's 2021 reboot and The World Ends With You's anime adaptation both look pretty promising. I think they're starting in the spring season, or maybe early Summer.
Yeah! Anime is just more fun when you can embrace it in all it's forms, from the philosophical or serious to the absolutely absurd and everywhere in between. Im definitely looking forward to this year and I hope if you do end up checking Uma Musume out, that it's enjoyable for ya!
I'm so behind on ReZero. Ill have to see if I want to watch all the episodes I missed first. Also Ive never seen any AoT so Ill have to see about that too!
This Anime...I owe my current life to. The first few episodes I caught on Funimation 3 years ago and it helped inspire some World of Warcraft Roleplay (RP) that now, has given me a Girlfriend of over a Year and a much more positive outlook on life. This Anime was not a roller coaster, because it's not. It was and still is a Journey. An unexpected journey, one could say. However, it's a journey that everyone needs to go through in order to grow as a human being. I will own the Blue Ray of this Anime and then, I will watch it with my GF when we start living together. I want to be by her side as she goes through the journey that I went through. This Anime will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it is a Journey. One that is worthwhile, satisfying and at the end of the day, one that you can look back fondly on and even pick up and read/watch repeatedly.
Im glad it gave you such an impact on your life and I wish you and your girlfriend much happiness in the future! I hope that you two have an amazing experience watching it together whenever that is
I had only heard about her from the Inuyasha ending, but after watching this i'll probably have to go check out her other works! Glad to see you're uploading again, I really enjoy your videos! Looking forward to your next upload!
It's great seeing you making videos again. This was a cool deviation from your anime videos, but it gave me some neat music recommendations too. I'll have to give BoA's music a listen. Keep it up, Zen.
