This is anime is defenitly one of my fav anime of all time, the amazing characters, the beautiful animation and the story it gives me the chills when I even think about this anime because its that good and the best this season. (bnh and aot were also really good but this stands out more).

I really cherish both of your videos on sangatsu no lion, there is so much depth to it, to Rei and all the characters, and the perspectives and philosophical essence of it.. of how people exist and how it's shown and perceived by the people who've watched it. I really appreciate the videos you guys have created, and I value your opinions and views on it.. So i wanted to say thank you!

I laughed when you said, "Three-Gatsu", not "San-Gatsu", but I really love this series. In the years I have watched anime, I have watched hundreds of anime. But I can confidently say that this anime is really in the top 3 of the best anime I've ever watched. Every episode, I always shed tears, emotions, reflections, and then WOAHHH!!!. This anime is not enough to be called a masterpiece, but it is more than that.

Honestly, this anime deserves so much more credit than it gets. You talked about why with the characters, but to me, every aspect of this anime feels at the top of it's class, from animation to voice acting to music, everything feels like so much work and effort was put into it, that it's sad to see how overlooked this series way, in favor of action or comedy series. Great review.

It's rated as the 5th best show of all time on myanimelist. The second season will give the franchise a huge boost, it gets almost universal critical approval. I agree that this show excels in every aspect, it's so excellent compared to most others animes. Btw I recommend you Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, it has the same objective epic quality, slow paced, character driven, with great OP and visuals.

Yeah, I saw that today, and I'm so happy about that. Not only is it #5 on MAL, but is also SHAFT's highest rated anime of all time and the highest rated Seinen anime of all time. Rei, my boy, you are great.

Nice video! That's why sangatsu no lion is one of my all time favorite anime and worthy to give 10/10 perfect score.. heck.. even more if i can.. I tend to like more serious but not edgy and mature show as i grow older and this show is exactly what i like.. damn this show is perfection.. And by the way it's pronounced as SAN gatsu no lion or March comes in like a lion in english.. not three gatsu.. but it's understandable

This was a much-appreciated video! Ever since its release in 2016 I have hardly seen anyone taking notice of this show on their RU-vid channel outside vague mentions. This show is quite simply one of the best anime I've ever seen and a masterpiece. Your look into the characters was amazing, I too have been noticing how they portray each character's emotions and motives in the most in-depth and appropriate ways I've seen out of anime in a long time.

Great video, you really captured some fundamental elements of the greatness of Sangatsu. After watching both seasons, my standards has been set extremly high, it won't be easy to start another one. Even some my other favorite animes seem pale in comparison

I think I'll definitely be giving this show a look! I like the more in-depth analysis, but I think you break down your points a little too much, which makes it feel more simple than what you're trying to actually convey. In addition, you've picked up a bad habit of pausing in the middle of your sentences here, and I'm wondering if that's a recording issue, or just how you spoke your lines. In any case, solid video so far!

I see, thank you for the feedback. I'll definitely have to work on the writing to not do so. Just my first go around in this style so I mightve done a bit too much haha. Pauses were probably just due to editing errors, if you wouldnt mind PMing me some timestamps so I can clarify this assumption.

I don't really watch a lot of anime, and as such, this isn't really one I'm familiar with. I do like it when anime has a more grounded story like the one you described here, and I am considering checking this one out. Though I admit that while I dig the art style overall, at times during the video I genuinely found the way they draw the pupils to be creepy.

Watch it now! The eyes are use a method known as hatching, similar to something you see in Madoka Magica. The eyes are strange at first, but it grows on you really fast. Honestly, the art is the best I've ever seen.

@@Zentagon just watching it, but I have to say 1st season is great but the season 2 was suck, season 3 is kinda little bit good but not great enough than the original. After season 2, they also release the movie: Psycho Pass the Movie and Psycho Pass Sinners of the System is a trilogy film before season 3. After season 3 they continue the series into a movie called Psycho Pass 3: First Inspector. That anime was too dark (season 1 & 2) while season 3 is less one.
