Oh no, an animal with their head chopped off was kept alive longer than it was supposed to. Honestly this is humane compared to shit like factory farming. Animals get decapitated there, and nobody seems to care. It’s not like they even had good lives before that, they were already in constant mental and physical pain. Only time when people care is when it’s done with an animal they like. If you have no issue with factory farming, what is your issue with this? Sure, it’s not the most humane, but it’s obvious the dog head is under some pretty heavy drugs, almost asleep. This helped us understand biology more, and people arguing the scientists are monsters obviously are most likely ignorant to the repetitive inhumane conditions of factory farming, only caring that this is a dog. If they did it with a cow, would you care nearly as much?

The government has the right to impose capital punishment inherently. If anyone has the power to take the government's power to impose capital punishment, they themselves are the real government. The death penalty always exists, if the government refuses to use it, criminal gangs will rise up and take their place. Also, homicide is not the same thing as murder, a murder is an unjust homicide. Finally, we shouldn't give a rats ass what other nations think of us.

People trying to defend this is absolutely insane. It doesn't matter that it was an animal. It doesn't matter if it didn't feel any pain because of medication. It doesn't matter if the dog barely had any conscience left. And it doesn't matter if it was for the good of science or for Humanity. All Humanity was lost and not worth saving the second insane scientist decided to chop off an innocent animals head and keep it alive and conscious hooked up to machines, and then proceeded to annoy it with loud banging sounds next to its very sensitive ears. Imagine if you were kidnapped by giants and they cut off your head and your last moments was being a just head kept alive by machines. You're barely conscious and the only thing you can really make out is those giants banging a hammer next to your head. You would think those giants were monsters who didn't deserve saving. And you would be right.
