Spring "slacking" also known as spring drooping can be done correctly without sacrificing ride quality by much. The correct way to run a drooped spring is to add a helper spring. Helper springs help fill in that gap and keep the main spring in place. You will have to shorten the bump stop a bit. It will also provide some amount of spring rate. It doesn't take alot of money, its a safer way and you'll be saving money in the long run by not damaging your coilovers. You can get hyper coil helper springs for like 37 bucks and the adapter for 20 bucks. I ended up getting the parts shop max spring helper kit for 120 plus shipping.
I bought my z a couple years ago and made a showcar on airlift out of it. To be completely honest it’s been one the most expensive and unrewarding car I’ve owned and that’s just my honest opinion. I tell everyone to stay as far away as possible lol

I ride 1 year on BMW m1 344bhp with na kang ns20 streched with no issues. Most of times drifting. Hard acceleration etc. Never had any issues with them at all.
Saw this video in my recommendations. 😂 they are starting to get the drift/manual tax. The manual cars are starting to get bought out by us car enthusiast
4 years in the feuture but im from canada looking for my first car all the mauels are hella expensive and have alot of km but the autos are good do you still reclemend (sorry for spelling)
Guys I found the solution for the rear coilovers being so loud and clanky that you don’t even wanna drive . I added an extra polyurethane bushing , huge nut, and flat washer to the Coilover assembly . Whatever sizes fit. Hope this helps someone
i mean ima be real here a lot of these are really not that great of reasons to dismiss the car. a base nissan shouldnt be expected to be fabulous inside, paint chipping is a minor fixable annoyance, speed comparison is unfair as its an entry tuning platform from near 20 years ago, engine problems listed here minor as well, engine bay is ig a slight annoyance for some, and that window trick is a minor z flaw as well- none of these are even close to enough to dismiss the car also the forum thing has nothing to do with the car, while some people can be annoying its still the internet and if you post a pic of a stanced car of course most wont like it, internet should be a free space for opinions
