Thumbnail shows the magnifier and the dot as a combo, mounted on a rifle. Video is of 2 hands fondling and fidgeting with the magnifier for 10 minutes.😂
I have a Geissele SSA-E and I am going to trade it with my gunsmith for the SSA because the “E” is more for a precision type of rifle and I built out a general purpose rifle. My 16.1” LWRCi M6IC DI has their factory nickel boron coated mil-spec trigger. In my PSA Turkey Day lower I have a single stage Elfmann sub 3lb trigger since it was built out to be my 300 black out hunting/SPR lower
I really wanted to see exactly what you've shown here. The size of it compared to other charging handle. Thank you very much. I think the micro is the perfect size.
@chrisregister8021 glad I could help! Thanks for watching. I would also recommend watching my review on the sledge hammer! That one is also really awesome
Yeah im around 1500$ into my “budget” build lol i gotta say it runs like a Swiss watch though i got a radical rf 15 socom was pretty cheap plus it came with a Midwest industries free float rail and b5 systems furniture but after the primary arms slx 1x prism and a lantac enhancement bcg, a geislie braided spring and h2 buffer and a cmc drop in trigger plus the bcm charging handle and sure fire muzzle break and utg accu-sync flip up irons and utg slim angled forward grip it’s not so cheap anymore its also got a pro tech light on it but im not counting it because i already had it lol
I could see now why our issued M4 carbines had chrome-lined barrels...round count. I checked my personal AR carbine (Diamondback DB-15) but could only find "NATO 1:8" near the muzzle device. Checking their website, the "Obsidian" series has the "4150 CrMov" barrel. Thanks for covering this topic.
Nice build! I haven't built an AR yet but hope to some day. Just picked up one of the PSA sabre uppers with an FN barrel in it. When I do finally build, I'll probably get a Noveske barrel since they are local to me.
Is there a way to program the crimson trace? I bought one used with no manual and it's on a high low beam and strobe rotation. I can't find anything anywhere on it.
@sologandthanksforallthef18365 Are you sure you mean the crimson trace? Unless the have updated them mine are high beam and that’s all. The streamlights are programmable.
Wow...a charging handle made to redirect gases for those that use the "can". I know they've had it for years but this is another contender. I have not been to the range in about 15 minutes and I feel like I need to go again.
The Vortex is on a Midwest Industries riser mount, it is way more beefier with two massive bolts, rather than the other two with a single and smaller bolt
@9527WahOn oh shoot. That’s not good. What direction did you start installing it first? From left to right? Or right to left? Did you use a pusher or a punch and hammer?
Follow up shots are a good comparing factor for me. I most times shoot alone so spotting my own hits, splash and even misses are important to me. I planned for my system to place 1 moa with my reloads at a lesser price than $30/20rd box (2021). I know it is possible for others to reload their cartridges to 1/2moa or smaller but my goal was 1moa for less dollars and the nearest decent sporting goods store is 2 1/2 to 3 hours away. Thanks for comparing these cartridges for us. What brake is that on your rifle?
Sig grip- 2 wreches, 2 coin batteries (in the plastic like yours lol) smaller laser battery, a few papers, a little tobacco and 2 bullets. That rubber lining is a good idea.
Sorry Sig, and I'm from Oregon, but I'll choose Holosun every time. First, they have a broader array of optic availability and their experience with making optics that fit user needs seems unparalleled. They even give the higher end optics a run for their money with features offered. My favorite optics are Aimpoints but they can't seem to be bothered to release a green dot version and my eye picks up green much quicker. They also don't implement solar. Arguably they don't need it given their battery life and I love Aimpoints service but it goes to show you how bent Holosun is on innovation according to user demands. There are also plenty of videos of them being abused ie Sage Dynamics and they do quite well. They made their name by making desirable optics. I feel Sig relies on their name to sell theirs. I realize these are both made in China but that doesn't make them trash.
First of all most people dont fire theyre weapon more than 20 bullets per month it will not fail for that also you should be looking over your rifle everytime you pick it up, it takes about 2 minutes to check everything over , thats why we love Armalite rifle model 15 rifles
Plenty videos showing it not failing after thousands of rounds. Not everyone is a millionaire to who can afford to shoot their guns every day let alone every week. Some of us have this thing called a job that takes up most of our time. I’ve seen “budget” parts do just fine but everyone is a tribilaist when it comes to brands
