this is the greatest software i've just come across still learning the nuances literally can be used for a work around to sync your obsidian via android to pc and so far its works sorta seamless since all these stupid cloud services like drive onenote via your phone don't allow you to sync folder directories with in a folder. But Syncthing fills this gap
Amazing video! Great content, really useful, no asking for subscriptions before even presenting the content (this drives me mad!!!), no adds (which would be funny considering the content of this particular video ;)) and top-notch production level (audio and video). WELL DONE and thank you!!!!🙏
One of the best videos I have watched (ever), great explanations and how to get started... thank you! I'm moving from paid Sugarsync that has become problematic to syncthing next!
Hi! Recently came across your video and great tutorial btw. With the new iPad pros m4 are you still using this method? Or is this an easier method now to use vscode?
Great video -- love the mic 🙂 Currently using Hammerspoon (very primitive but I was used to it), and this looks much better. PS: Ctrl-up didn't work for me until I enabled it (I used F3 normally). Also I didn't have the assign to Desktop on my options until I enabled something else - dunno what. Finally, macOS calls them desktops not spaces nor workspaces (they used to have spaces which were topologically connected like screens are). As you can tell I'm still tweaking. I'm also still using port, so will switch to homebrew when I can.
That statement about the Thunderbolt 4 port on the left side, working better than the ones on the right ones, is so true. I have a 16" M1 Pro and Dell WD22TB4 dock; and it's the same story.
I watched this video first and then watched others. I only watched maybe 2 minutes each of other content before moving on to the next one because they weren’t up to snuff compared to this one.
Hello, I followed all the steps but it's not working. After connecting my Raspberry Pi with the USB cable to my iPad, I do not see Ethernet appearing on my iPad. I also have a question: does the IP address you used work in all cases? For example, on my local network, IP addresses are like this: 192.168.1.xx.
Generally speaking, it's a bad idea to alias commands to existing commands (e.g. exa to ls) because if you ever need the functionality of the underlying command you'll be at a loss why you don't have it until you remember you randomly aliased it to another command that one time long ago. Better to just adjust your workflow to write exa instead of ls whenever you want to do what that command can provide.
How to change a small part of the file name WITHOUT typing the full file name? E.g., you have a file "This is a sample file from 2023.txt" and you want to change 2023 to 2024, how to do it? The only way I could think of using Move and type the full file name, which is very laborious.
Is there a way I can run multiple OS in the raspberry pi? What’s the simplest solution? Can I just swap multiple Micro SD card? I just got raspberry pi 5 and installed raspberry pi os lite following your video with no GUI to be used for code server, but I also may want to try Kali Linux, Ubuntu, etc
great video! however the router setup is the same as others, just plug the Pi-Hole IP as the DNS server and everything works. This breaks the internet for me. My router requires 2 different DNS servers so I have 2 Pi-holes running. when i have 1 as primary DNS and google as secondary I can access the internet on devices however I have no add blocking. When I set both Pi-Holes as primary and secondary every device breaks and will connect to the router but has no internet access and I cannot connect to anything, even after a router restart. No tutorial has helped with this issue and no help forum has helped with this issue. I do not get what is going wrong.
I just installed oh my zsh, how do you display the git message when enterring a git directory? And how do you display the file path instead of just the file name on the left ? Thx!
this was very cool. thanks to your video, I've installed ncdu (Ubuntu terminal equivalent to windirstat I reckon), the exquisite/hack scene style btop and, especially, ntfy. Really useful tips. Thank you.
Hi, I installed with windows and docker, but now I'm lost now that it's installed. I tried to follow along with your tutorial and a few others, but where I get lost is what to do with my IP address? Do I need to go change something in my settings? I vaguely understand that I have to set it as a single address instead of letting the computer decide, but you can assume I'm the most beginner of beginners. It seems like it is working but I just don't have the same menus as you other than the web interface. Thanks in advance if you have any advice, and no worries if you don't!
