Long distance fpv is what got me into fpv and I am trying to build my first fpv drone, a Flywoo Explorer LR 4 but i only have the frame, and it's going to take me a long time before I can fly because I am disabled and unable to work anymore so I live on a very fixed income. I also live in full-time in my 1967 GM TDH-4519 city transit bus on my friends land in the high desert of New Mexico USA. If you are interested in bus or van life, i just posted my first video on RU-vid and it's about upgrading a Victron blue smart battery charger. Please check it out and tell me what you think.

Hey bro. Hope you're doing OK..I haven't seen a video from you in a while. Hope you come back. As I am getting back into drones I looked forward to your stuff. Take care bro
I've learned not to trust muscle memory, too many factors can affect what's happening at any moment to just trust that the same movement will work. not just for FPV... muscle memory cannot be trusted, stay focused and vigilant at all times, expect things to go wrong, expect things to go weird. >:/
Genius. Any chance of getting the 3D printed part or drawing from you? Where did you find the Hasselblad hood? I am new to the Komodo and found a discontinued Tilta sunhood that I have purchased. But your setup is really good. Back in the 1970's and 80's, I was a photographer who lusted after a medium format camera. When I bought the Komodo, I instantly thought that the form factor was just like the old medium format bodies. Cheers.
Found this other video on RU-vid: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uG0xhwFHQ-U.html. A custom Viper plate and Hasselblad viewfinder options are featured.
Wow - so cool and minimal - making use of Komodo's on board tools instead of mounting lots of stuff to it. How could I get this piece printed and where would I get the viewfinder? Any pointers? Thank You!!
Not as satisfactory as what you have, but a Zacuto “eye piece”/“viewer” - that I bought 10 years ago - to make viewing the screen on a Canon 7D DSLR easier when shooting video - can be placed over the Komodo’s screen. It doesn’t attach - and doesn’t provide full coverage - but it will allow one to focus precisely (assuming the subject area is reasonably central) even in the brightest of lighting conditions !
Awesome thank you. Now I know how to test my vtx to make sure it's good. So let's say I didn't test and it is bad. The build is complete and I power it on. Is it bad if it's fried? Would that mess anything up ?
Not related to this video but i finally got a set of the Moon Boots V2 1750kv. Flyin em on my Apex 6 incher and they are seriously smooth and powerful!!!!!
