Konza (Konza Technopolis ) is a key flagship project of Kenya’s Vision 2030 economic development portfolio. Konza will be a world-class city, powered by a thriving information, communications and technology (ICT) sector, superior reliable infrastructure and business friendly governance systems.
Some new technology for a sustainable development have emerged. Schools can be fitted with a wind solar hybrid roof system. For building windows there's solar energy window film, flexible solar, and or solar blinds. Some energies also are biofuels, hydrogen, natural gas, geothermal, piezoelectric. Also we have, offshore ocean current, tides, side river or drainage water turbines. Then a complete school set up would have vertical farming with classes and farmers market venders. Livestock fodder helps dairy with less chemicals if its vertical farming. The ev bus, staff ev cars, ev bikes, ev trains, magnet trains, tractors, home yard tools on battery. Homes can have personal solar generators. While water can be sourced through the Neom seawater desalination dome. Rainwater collection systems, drip irrigation for outdoor agriculture, water wells can be clean energy harvested. Can also find information on tankless electric water heating. Home air conditioning has cleaner systems using water. Medical has a zipline drone delivery company. Personal cooking can be on an persona electric stove connected to personal electric generators on personal wind solar hybrid units. Fish hatcheries indoor my provide better yields. One tree panted, 4ocean have good programs. Permaculture, composting, soil microbiology, worm farms, bee pollinators, edible Forrest, community gardens, with some couples cooking places, lion electric, plenty farms, freight farms, or google augmented reality glasses, nvidia health, exoskeleton or new prosthetics from 3d printing, Icon 3D home printing, google vertual reality education, vertical farm next to schools, restaurants, grocery stores, to table, FarmKenya, pbs, , are good to research? Hope this helps, may Unkulunkulu provide blessed travels, KJV 2 Peter 1:7, God bless
This is Great President Mwai Kibaki will be proud if he would woke up today, Sillicon Savvanah to the world ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QemMIUpL3aM.html&t
It was very very wrong for Kenya to get ICC suspects as president and deputy. Kenya really went backwards cos of corruption. Devolution also messed Kenya big time. Kenya must drop 47 counties and revert back to 8. Provinces to realize faster growth. Right now it's just looting
Its not a white jumbo ..but a good example of rome city which was not built in a day..but centuries...i would prefer that they prioritized tram or light train that dont necessarily use crude rail track but that mingle with the road network available, covered stadium 🏟️ unlike the nyayo like ..it should have modern gym and funpark or rollercoaster and other recreational facilities besides the research labs
Over 50 investors already have their parcels of land, KoTDA should commission Phase 1 so that investors are cleared to start building vertical infrastructure while KoTDA hastily moves to Phase 2 horizontal infrastructure. Riara University recently broke ground for their 20 Billion Main Campus in Konza Technopolis, if the rest of the investors break ground simuteneaously then the city will grow at a faster pace.
I've been following this project for far too long that I don't think there is anything I don't know about it. At this point I think you guys should be updating us on the state of investors as far as ground breakings are concerned.
Exactly, over 50 investors already have their parcels of land, KoTDA should commission Phase 1 so that investors are cleared to start building vertical infrastructure while KoTDA hastily moves to Phase 2 horizontal infrastructure, Riara University recently broke ground for their 20 Billion Main Campus in Konza Technopolis, if the rest of the investors break ground simuteneaously then the city will grow at a faster pace.
Do you think settling up a water supply from Mt.Kilimanjaro is easy? Laying foundation work like roads, sewerage systems, data centers, water supply and transport networks ain't a joke....and the government is not supposed to build houses...the government is supposed to provide these amenities then private investors are supposed to build the second phase horizontally
@@AmazingMania Okay, what about the New Administrative capital in Egypt, same as Kenyà ut fast tracked....issue isn't who gets to do what issue is by when will what is done by whom is completed....since it's conceptualization till now .. someone will say but USA built Silicon Valley over years...that's them and we are Kenyans...not everything should be as the west does?! If so many of South East countries would be lagging rn.
@@NESTER...the difference is Egypt is building a new city and Kenya is building a technopolis. That's the difference. The government is only building the horizontal infrastructure. Also remember Konza is not for any other investor. It's only allowing investors in the technology sector.
KENYANS ARE BEING SENT ABROAD TO DEVELOP OTHER COUNTRIES INSTEAD OF BUILDING KONZA! THE LAND NEEDS TO BE LEASED TO INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPERS FOR FASTER COMPLETION!!
Just a simple question, who determined that those narrow roads with nodes and cross junctions every few metres were adequate? That is gona be some traffic madness. Very inadequate.
There will also be a metropolitan train linking the city to capital so the roads are meant for cyclists and pedestrians....or small cabs...hakuna matatu madness huko
I remember in 2010 vision 2030 when konza city was being advertised as a futuristic city am just happy the city is back on track I just hope that the city maybe be completed to about 50-60% hopefully
Konza RU-vid page has 3k subscribers shame on Kenyans and Gen z but in diamond and zari we lead to tell starlink ceo how to beat safaricom. And then complain no oppurtunties.
Kibaki set up vission 2030, u till 2031 all presidents work towards the projets under vission 2030. If ruto will win next election then he might commission our next development trajectory
Konza Technopolis City to the world, great and commendable job, less politics and more work, commission phase 1 and immediately begin working on phase 2.
KENYA SHOULD LEASE THE LAND TO INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS OTHERWISE THE BUILDING PROCESS WILL BE VERY SLOW AND TAKE TOO LONG TO COMPLETE! EGYPT HAS ALREADY FINISHED THEIR SECOND CAPITAL CITY AWAY FROM CAIRO. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ALSO BAN ALL MATATU'S FROM KONZA AND MAKE IT MORE CIVILIZED.
Has the current president and/or his deputy visited Konza? That good will is very very important because it seems the current government isn't interested in that konza.
