Laying foundation work like roads, sewerage systems, data centers, water supply and transport networks ain't a joke....and the government is not supposed to build houses...the government is supposed to provide these amenities then private investors are supposed to build the second phase horizontally

​@@NESTER...the difference is Egypt is building a new city and Kenya is building a technopolis. That's the difference. The government is only building the horizontal infrastructure. Also remember Konza is not for any other investor. It's only allowing investors in the technology sector.

The city is designed as walking friendly. Bigger side walks for pedestrian and cyclists. It's a green city.

There will also be a metropolitan train linking the city to capital so the roads are meant for cyclists and pedestrians....or small cabs...hakuna matatu madness huko
