Follow your heart Linkon. Recruiting hasn't ever been civil or nice. I think your family and friends would love to be able to see you play in person and I think you know that. Also you have another old soul kid here folks. Oregon isn't getting the message.
Ask Ben Sinnott to give him a call & have a discussion. I LK wants to visit UOR, fine. Go, see & satisfy your curiosity. Then he’ll know where he needs to be. I visited a number of Univ’s in my college search & took away something from each visit. K-State was absolutely the right place for me & they did an outstanding job presenting the Univ & everything it has to offer. But the people are who won me over!! And I think that still holds true today. GO ‘Cats & GO STATE!!
I believe Linkon will stay he seems like he was truly committed to k state. He belongs with us 😊 and I think he will ball out at k state. We just had a TE drafted 2nd round we have had great TE play in the past and our culture is amazing I love our fans and being a fan. GoCats
It's too exhausting to worry about something we have no control over. Support our players, contribute to NIL, root against that overrated green and yellow O, and go on with life.
I have nothing to base this on other than what the GPC staff has said and mostly my experience in watching other high profile recruits from Kansas. My gut feeling is that what we're really talking about is whether Cure plays 2 seasons at K-State or 3. It seems like he is more likely to come to K-State from the start, but even if he were to switch, I bet that he would come back. Sometimes a kid has to leave home for their future and sometimes it is so they appreciate what they had. I sincerely hope and believe that Cure will spend his career as a Wildcat, but even if he flips, I expect him to play for K-State eventually.
I'll be there for the Arizona game and I'm super pumped. It trips me out how different BYU fans are from UofU fans. The amount of hatred and anger Utes have is insane. I understand that every fanbase has their fair share of bad fans, but the ratio for the UofU seems to be one of the largest in the country. I've never talked to a rude BYU fan, and love the loyalty they have for their school. it's similar to the Arizona loyalty (except more positive, when you guys waxed us it was like the world was going to end). Both jerseys are signed btw 😜
Gonna be good games in the next 3 weeks! I think we can do it undefeated over that stretch. Did I ever mention how much I hate Kansas? Gives me warm fuzzies to see them struggle, almost as much as I get when we play to our potential!!
It would be nice to see a limit on the amount of times per season a team could get tagged with the late slot. Coach nailed it, they're students as well. NFL players are not and they rarely kickoff later than 8:30 ET.
I remember a couple of years ago when BYU came to play Oregon. Oregon blew them out but what was so embarrassing was when Duck fans started chanting F#$@ the Mormons. I was shocked and disgusted! I am still a Ducks fan but there are some fans who need some serious attitude adjustments.
I'm glad you had a positive experience at BYU. I had 2 children and 2 sons in law attend BYU, but I am a true blue Boise State fan. I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I have attended several games there and would have to say I was treated probably the worst I have ever been by BYU fans. So it makes me happy to hear you had a positive experience. I love college football and can appreciate a good atmosphere and a great game!
The experience K State gained from the BYU game should help them be better prepared for Colorado, the BYU loss may actually be a blessing through out the rest of the season in places like Colorado, W Virginia and Iowa State where the game time environment is challenging. Time will tell.
DJ is the best back in the country, he should be up for the Heisman, even though i do think travis hunter should win it!! DJ should win the Doak Walker award
When I was a young man in the Navy, I worked an eight hour day (Sometimes 12 hours) and stood a four hour watch. Trust me when I say, it was A LOT easier at 20 then it would be at 66. :) They will be fine.
I saw the lavender uniform question brought up again in coach K’s press conference. It would be nice to see lavender on the field this year. Maybe the dark purple jerseys and lavender pants or flipped lavender jerseys and dark purple pants with silver piping and silver helmets.
I love how Cole’s comment at about the 34 minute mark pretty much reveals that it was a tremendous play call. For all the haranguing we gave the playcalling a week or three back, shouldn’t it be more about the positive playcalling today? Maybe it will be after I stop making this comment.
It’s not like baseball or basketball. It’s a week between games. It’s only a big deal if it’s a Thursday or Friday game. These kids will adapt without a problem
Colorado has made a lot of progress. They deserve respect and attention, but they have yet to play anyone in the Top 3rd of the conference. Baylor and UCF aren't in that fold. They aren't.
