This is my favorite famicom game which I own I paid 48 bucks for it a couple years back bought it off of eBay. Also love the game boy version which is my favorite game boy game. Both games are a little different and both are very fun I've only beat the game boy version now I've never beat the famicom version.
I remember when we got this. The first used video game store ever in our area had just opened up. I picked Mega Man 2, and my dad picked this. Both him and my Uncle were into it.
Thanks for showing me that there isn't anything I would have cared about past the first couple missions of this. I rented it as a child and it confused the hell out of me. I played it again as an adult and didn't do much better. Sometimes NES games had a lot of ambition and flew a little too close to the sun.
Myth: History in the Making seems like a cool game! I'll have to check it out. As for Conan on the NES (or Conan: The Mysteries of Time) I did find a quality of life romhack for it on a romhacking site, but it only changes the controls and probably doesn't address issues like proper audio feedback for attacks or the infinitely looping lightning flashes...
Gosh this looks so unredeemable. I'm willing to more than cut some slack on most so-called "bad" NES games like you say, gonna pass here though. Thanks NesFriend.
Games like this make the NES look bad. Great video as always! How long did you play this game for? The only mystery of time here is how long anybody lasted in it!
Conan, in this case, is pronounced like "co-nan," and Conan O'Brien is pronounced like "co-nun," but I wouldn't mind a Conan the Barbarian game starring Conan O'Brien.
Some NES games are so bad that they have a charm to them. This game however is just plain bad. I feel bad for any kids who got this for Christmas instead of Super Mario Bros. 3 because the store was sold out of them.
I liked the part where you slowly counted to nine. Please don't go releasing a video where you slowly count to even larger numbers, though. That isn't enough to support a video on its own. I'm sorry.
This is one that could have been simple and used the movies as story and just make it a simple side scroller like say Rygar. Oh well. Great video as always!
Yeah, this is classic Eurojank. C64 games have to accommodate for one-button controllers and they almost never fix that for the NES ports, so it’s up (or even down) to jump, never A or B.
Finally! Not just a re-release of a game I already own but an actual amazing sequel that feels just as good and satisfying as the original! Got it and enjoying myself as much as I did when I was 10 years old!
Thanks for talking about the arcade, pointing out that it came later, It might be called Lightbringer as well, several names, I know it as Dungeon Magic, the NES looks it's Wolfenstein 3D/Doom FPS with the billboarding images.
