Wire wheeled the area’s, then did an acid treatment before priming and painting with Eastwood 2k chassis black satin. If you live up north I would absolutely do a lanolin coating to protect from rust. If you are in Texas like me. No need my 50 year old trucks don’t have rust.
Looks like a 240 Six cylinder with the 3 speed My Dad had an ex-US Air Force '65 F100 shortbed stepside with the 240 and 3 speed. He found a '65 parts truck and swapped a 4 speed on the floor from it on into his truck.
