Love the videos! Some good old Detroit Steel! I've had a couple of those in my day. One was a Station Wagon. LOL! Also, it's pronounced "Val-Yant". Plymouth Valiant. Keep up the great work man!
it was always my understanding that you definitely did NOT want to use any sort of open flame heat source, due the extreme volatility of the aerized powder...
You’re not getting shit for a gun unless you spend five grand GMA are OK but Wagner Prima sprint is the one powder I’ve painted with all of them. 14 years and heat ut re coats up missed them whether he does the light coat. Let it cool about 10 minutes and then go through with your gun farther away than you normally would and take all the shine away. You’ll never have a problem.
That Illusion Orange is amazing for its properties, where even in the shadows, the shapeshifting can be seen. In the sun, its mind-blowing. I'm having a hard tail frame built up by Retrotec, and they have this color on their website for an example bike. Going with that color. Thanks for the video.
What color is that? Looks like an illusion series from prismatic with how dark and dull the green comes out after first coat. Clear vision is an amazing product lol
Great video, awesome job. Just subscribe to your channel. im thinking of starting powder coating hobby to learn how to do it and possibly turn it into a business i just a few of your videos as well
Just recently started my powder coating business right now. I'm doing any small job. I can find a side job hoping to blow up and make my own business full-time
Just ordered illussion cherry from prismatic hope those guys know ho much traffic you are driving! I am doing a 54 Plymouth Savoy club coupe. Was going to paint it now i am wondering if it could be powder coated...? The whole car?
What's the trick to not get a hook mark where it hangs. Coat it, flow it out, move hook and coat the area where hook previously was then put it back in oven?
If you hook it by where the isolation rubber mount sits you can’t see the small mark if there is one. But to spray, partial cure, move the hook and spray again, when you go to cure it your hook will stick and still make a mark
@@derrickwebb7230 if you use an acrylic clear it won't silver out as much (any clear but acrylic will make it look like silver not chrome) but with UV stable acrylic clear I know powder coaters who say it will last awhile. I don't do it though. If a customer want's that, I'll just refuse the job.
Bruh ... mad props to ya, for working thru the Superbowl. NOT because you missed the Superbowl ... but because you are working and grinding on a Sunday!!!!
