Viktor I could never NOT like your videos! Xcellant Job! Viktor...My first guitar in the mid 1960s was a six string guitar that totally resembled this beauty you worked on here. 🤔 I'm not sure if in Europe you would have even heard of it. It was a guitar made by Sears And Robuck Company. It was almost identical. Black glitter paint with the plastic white trim. The amplifier was actually built into the guitar case. It of course was a tube amp at that time. You took the guitar out of the case and stood the case on end. The plug port and controls were inside at the top of the case and the speaker was on the outside of the case. We used to play in a friend's basement with a drummer and...as garage bands did back then we were celar kids. There was no lessons or RU-vid then so we sounded awful! Lot of good memories came back just watching you perform your magic in this beautiful guitar! Thanks Viktor! Your friend in America! Ray!👍😎

Viktor The Doctor is in Da House! You've really showed your guitar tech mastery here. 👍👏 I think the builder spared no expense on this guitar. The Bridge looks like it cost a fortune. Also, I never saw thoes locking tuners before. My black American Stratocaster has locking tuners but there is no need to winde around the post just tighten and couple turns and its at pitch. These seem to tighten with a set screw on top then you winde around the post. No need to reverse bend your string. Amazing! Great work fine tuning this guitar. The owner is SO lucky to have such a Master guitar 🎸 tech work on it. I'm never 💯% happy with the workmanship of our local Luther's. Each video you put out shows a little more how great your ability is. I hope local guitar owners see your videos and the comments left and your business grows expedentually. I'm impressed! Hi Ray! Thank you again for your kind words! Yes, this tremolo is a very high quality and precise type. But this also only provides the same memory that Leo Fender created in the early fifties! Here, too, you can see what a genius he was in the field of guitar production! Regarding the vise tuning key, I used to wind the string on it at least 3 times to get the angle of 3-5 degrees so that the other vibration of the string does not give a glass sound! Luckily more and more people are watching my videos and thus my customers are increasing, but still it will remain just a hobby for a long time. Viktor from the high Alps

@viktorlieszkovszky9683 7 месяцев назад
Hi Ray! Well, I have an Epiphone LP Junior that I videoed a long time ago, in several parts at the beginning of my video series. You can see the complete setup there! Otherwise, I don't see the point of setting the guitar in one specific place, so I always check the guitar complexly, from beginning to end! What I am going to describe here for you! At Epi Studio First step: at the zero fret, I measure the distance between the string and the fingerboard. E1-B2 = 1.3-1.4 mm G3- D4 = 1.37-1.42mm A5-E6 = 1.42-1.5m After that, I just check back if I press down with my finger at the third fret, the distance between the first fret and the string is E1=0.15mm and E6=0.25mm. If these values are good, then you can go on to adjust the Truss Rod!!! It happens as follows: At the first bund, put on a guitar capo. Press the index finger of your right hand on the last 22nd bun. With your left hand, you can easily measure the 8th fret, the gap must be 0.25-0.35mm!!! If the gap is greater than 0.25-0.35 mm, turn the imbiss key clockwise, to the right. If, on the other hand, the gap between the fur and string is less than 0.25-0.35 mm, then it is wound counter-clockwise, to the left. But only a quarter of a turn, then wait 10 minutes for the wood to move, then measure again! When ready, you can adjust the back bridge, which affects the height of the string compared to the fingerboard! Here's how: You take off the capo and lay the guitar down vertically. I always measure the distance in 2 places! At the octave, at the 12th fret, 1.58-2.38 mm under the E1 string and 2.38-3.17 mm under the E6 string is a good value. Or where the neck meets the body at the 17th fur under E1, 1.2mm under E6, 1.6mm is the ideal size. So it's my style to check everything one by one. You can even adjust the octave and pickup height. If things don't go well, you can call Viktor Lieszkovszky in a Facebook message. I wish you success and good luck! ( I hope what I wrote was understandable. and sorry that I only gave it in metric size) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1b4ji1do0uU.html

Why not make those string hole plugs as one piece of metal so there's no expansion issue.

Victor, What a job!!👍🏻 I saw on the original pots the stamp 67. Was this the build date of the guitar? What a TERRIBLE place to put a truss rod!...No access! Why did you have to cut the balls off the end of the guitar strings and adjust the tension slightly until locked in place into the Floyd Rose? No way to just insert the string until the ball locks into place? Curios! Ionly owned one guitar with a Floyd Rose System before. I never had to do that. My guitar was a Fender Squire 1990 "Heavy Metal Stratocaster". No pick gaurd Frost White color. I hated the Floyd Rose due to them being so finicky! Although I did like to fine tune via the little knobs on the bridge. Nice set up with the guitar! Great "Dive Bombs" with the Tremelo! Yet stayed in tune. Im sure you customer will be very happy! I enjoyed watching this one very much! I love the touch of.."The Masters Hands"!! Best Wishes from across the pond! Ray😉👍🏻

Thanks Ray! This guitar had the maker's signature and the year of manufacture 1987 in the tremolo cover. For Floyd Rose system tremolos, the back ball of the string must be cut off, as the string is held by a vise system and does not pass through the body. With 2-point stratocaster tremolos, you don't have to do this because the string goes through the tremolo block. As an active musician for 25 years, I used to like to play on these: Dean Pantera 450, Jackson V Fly, Ibanez RG 450-550. Due to my hand rheumatism, I now only play Telecaster or Les Paul Junior. Anyway, thanks for watching my videos!😎

@@viktorlieszkovszky9683 Victor, I really love your videos ! The detail and knowledge you exhibit is awesome! 👍🏻😉 I wish you were local and could work on my guitars. I understand the issues of physical limitations... because plastering a ceiling 20 years ago looking up I pinched a nerve in my kneck and my left arm was paralyzed for a number of years. I have trouble forming bar chords on the first few frets. If you look hard enough you can see my facial and body contortions while playing because I do not have full rotation in my left wrist. My Stratocaster is a 2012 American and plays like butter so I really understand your statement! My go to guitar!! Awaiting patiently for your next upload! Best wishes from across the pond! Thanks! Hi Ray! Yes, I really like these songs too! This is the natural Les Paul with gold hardware and Bigsby tremolo from 1952. I also made this 8 years ago. Full mahogany body and neck, poplar top. Unfortunately, I only take photos, not videos. This is also Keith Richards playing this at a couple of concerts.

@@viktorlieszkovszky9683 Victor, I did pay particular attention to the Gibson. Even on my phone I could tell the tone was there! 👍🏻😉 Abbsoluty Beautiful! I tried to notice a Gibson logo on the headstock but was unable..." I believed you to be a fender guy"? SO,🤔 me being a thinking man I said to myself...I'm willing to bet dimes to doughnuts 🍩...that Victor built this guitar! I was correct! Beautiful job! Victor, I'm am shocked at the level of vintage songs you played in your set! I also wondered"HOW" in heavens name did you locate them and or be familiar with them since you were not around then??!! There are MILIONS of Great songs I grew up with!! I was born in 1956 so these songs were a HUGE part of my life! Whenever I hear one of them it brings me to a memory of exactly where and when I head them and what I was doing at the time. Also, 🤔 what really surprises me is during your videos building and repairing guitars you "ocationally" struggle with English. Not a problem because I totally understand you! However, singing...not a word mispronounced! English Master! 👍🏻😉This is what I noticed during The British Rock Invasion to America. The British bands sang in clear American "understandable" English However, when they spoke on camera or at a interview 🤔 I could never really understand what the heck they were saying. To this day I struggle with understanding them. If I watch movies done from the 🇬🇧 UK I "ALWAYS"have the subtitles going just so I understand what is being said. To me it looks like you had a BLAST that night with...The Beets! I'm Jealous! I miss being young! Rock On!!!👍🏻😉

Hello Anthony! Thank you in advance for watching my videos and for commenting on them! I'm happy with any comments, whether positive or negative. I think you can learn something from everything! But if you allow me, I would answer your request here, with respect! I mean you accused me of something, but you didn't write here which part is illegal? Unfortunately, the video does not adequately reflect the feeling when you hold the guitar in your hand on the stage and the Rolling Stones play in front of thousands of people. But I will also make a video about this in mid-November. Believe me, I really want you to be there on stage and try this guitar and then what would you say, because I'm very interested! I am also very happy that I first made these videos for the owners who ordered the guitar to show how it was made! But now it is watched in several countries of the world, by thousands. The goal here was that those guitarists who authentically play these songs several times a week on a small stage could give back to the audience a similar sound as possible! The fourth goal and challenge was that the K.R. reproduce a telecaster that is worth thousands of dollars for less than one thousand five hundred euros, using original parts! Which you can buy in any musical instrument store for thousands of euros! So every single part was purchased at an original Fender USA dealer. Furthermore, I asked for and received permission in a letter about the assembly and the making of the video, as this is not illegal as you think! I hope I was able to reassure you that this is legal! Also, I don't speak English well, but the title you object to should be interpreted as a whole, which is important: "is built on a low budget" Thanks again for watching my videos and trying to help me make them as perfect as possible! Sincerely, Viktor🙏👍

Hi John! Thank you for the information and also for watching my videos! Yes, you are right! When I was asked to do this job, I spent 1 week studying all of Keith's guitars, which are available online in photo and sound. At this point, we discussed with the owner and he asked for it. In one of my previous videos, when they asked for Gary Moore's Les Paul, unfortunately I did the same, I had to reverse the position of the neck pickup. Thank you!
