Hundreds of thousands of unskilled migrants, most of which barely speak English has killed this country. No-one seems bothered about fixing it. The tories are more bothered about giving money to their mates and Labour see these migrants are potential voters so they can stay in power.
Students are allowed to work 20 hrs a week but not as self-employed and delivery jobs are self-employment so yeah all international students working as delivery riders they are all working illegally.
How do just eat determine pay per delivery? based on customer order amount? number of miles? time of day? some jobs are £4 per delivery others are £12.50?

Question, where do you usually leave the bike when you're going to deliver the goods to the person? I'm thinking of doing this but I'm worried someone might just pick it up and run away with it even if it's locked.
I interact with drivers all the time and it's shocking how many of them don't speak English. How can these companies give jobs to people who can't perform one of the basic functions? I have no way of knowing whether they have the right to work here but I suspect most of them don't. I don't see how these companies can abdicate the responsibility for this with the substitution system.

😂so many long trip past customer order from Deliveroo & now they all switch to ordering from Foodpanda orders again right!😊 Bec too many complant from Deliveroo Customer due to very very slow in Delivery & very very low paying to Riders nowaday. That is why customer all switch start orders from foodpanda😊
I think food delivery is awful its all a scam costs more plus adding on delivery charge food is 8 out of 10 x cold some are illegal riders they create major accidents on the roads through driving like reckless idiots one incident a man deliberately stopped infront of my car causing me to hit him and then had a cheek to take a picture of my plate and rode off making a claim against me customer service is shocking list goes on this is uk
Tbh From my perspective, when I worked In Gloucester I was one of 3 cyclists up until about then end of 2021. I then moved to Cheltenham. Only a few months after coming back to Gloucester to visit, there was 20-30 cyclists, all of similar race that seemed to influx into the city. Interesting how it happened and I wonder if they are all from the same country / living out of the same 4 star hotel !
This business will fail very soon. Is not control of how many drivers and the industrie is saturated with drivers. And the Uber taxi is the same thing, sonner or later they will be gone, or by deslelation or by lack of drivers

The fact that we're now pumping raw sewage into British rivers really highlights how far into the decline we are. Frankly, a lot of people need to go back.
There's low skill in every industry now too. Due to taxes and regulatory fees there's no incentive to give customers a greater service because they can't afford it and you have your income taken. Prices are high based on population increases. The UK is more like an economic zone for the billionaires rather than a country.

It's called the "Deliveroo economy", of negative benefit to the GDP. Importing the road sense and low skills of less developed countries, on roads that look like they've been shelled. Wake up people, the wealthy are shafting us all, yet you blindly believe everything you hear and watch on the news whilst chomping on crap food delivered by low earning migrants. I highly recommend Gary Stevenson if you want to be educated. UK Column is excellent for actually being informed about what's happening behind the scenes...but be prepared for a shock. You can either get involved and help prevent it, or go back to vegetating infont of the TV...which is what they are hoping for. Third World conditions are coming to the UK by courtesy of the super wealthy.
The reason soo many single males are homeless on the streets is because the government don't care and the councils don't care. Literately NO ONE CARES!
