You are the kind of woman I would instantly become friends with💕love your content and personality!!! I just decided for the skip hop forma after being almost sure I was getting the happ brand levy bag (very expensive) But then I saw the forma at Macys and held it and just felt like it was perfect. Totally forgot about the fancy Happ one.
I am searching for a new diaper bag. I have a jujube BFF from my first child and let me tell you. That bag it's almost new, but the straps are definitely not comfortable for me or my husband. The straps keep coming off our shoulders. The bag it's awesome but the straps are super uncomfortable. Especially after traveling a long time.
Thank you for this video! My son will be 9 months in August and I have been anxious about his first flight. You have eased alot of my concerns. One question where did you put the stroller when you got on the plane?
Great tips!! I’m flying with my baby for the first time in December and already researching what to pack. I will have 8 other family members with me though but I’m still nervous!! Lol anyway thanks for this video!
nice haul and food prep, hope you have a great week, I subscribed to your channel, hope you come check out mine, wish we had a Costco, we use a lot of eggs also and produce ,asparagus a favorite and avocados to its stuff I almost always get, well enjoy the yummy stuff,
Finally a helpful video. Traveling to Michigan next week with my 10month baby alone for 5 days!! I am nervous about my daughter crying the whole flight. The other thing im stressed about it the stroller situation. I was going to bring an umbrella stroller and rent a car seat from the rental place. But then I thought about and my baby will not nap well on the trip in an umbrella stroller 😣 and we plan to be out and about most of the trip. But I don't want my stroller and car seat damaged
HAHA!!! I love you so much! You're hilarious and relatable, I've missed you being on RU-vid! I was at home in California and one of my favorite churches in Riverside has a legit personality assessment that you really must do! It's helped me learn who I am and how I am at my best and worst, when healthy and not. sandalschurch.com/news/2018/04/07/self-discovery-at-sandals-church/ here's the link and I hope you get to do it and watch/podcast the sermons based on your results. Be quick, as it times out after an hour or hour and a half, haha I had to retake it. A good book I've read lately that could go well with your decision fatigue and perfectionism is The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst =)
I actually read the Best Yes last summer! My summer “self help” book 😉 thanks for that link! It looks great!! It’s hard keeping up with videos but I adore them! I have three sitting waiting to be edited 😜
I enjoy your videos SO much! Sometimes I'm more into filming videos than writing posts, too. I get that - and I say do whatever feels fun and compelling to you!
I am such a perfectionist in that way too!! And, I love personality quizzes and tests! Have you taken the Myers-Briggs or Enneagram? You would love them! I have decision fatigue too, and I learned about it through a podcast as well! But, I was listening to Emily P. Freeman's podcast called The Next Right Thing. You should listen to it! The entire podcast is for those who suffer from decision fatigue. And the episodes are pretty short in length too! Love seeing you back!
I’ll definitely check out that podcast!!! I still need to take the enneagram test. My Myers-Briggs is ENFJ (I think.... I always have to ask my husband hahaha he remembers these things!)
So I totally agree with the zero waste intrigue! Ive been switching to cloth napkins for me and my 4 year old and looking into sponges for cleaning bathrooms instead of paper towels and bought some reusable bags instead of ziplock. Just a couple little things that could save some money and the environment. Love that you guys are able to do weekly date nights! Since my son turned one, we've been trying to do monthly date nights and i think its been a great change too! So happy you are back!
Yes! It does seem like small changes are the best approach. I'm so surprised at how we've cut down on our paper towel usage thanks to the small changes. And hooray for date nights!! Tonight we couldn't find a sitter for our usual Thursday date night, so we're doing take out after the kids are in bed and watching a movie!
I have two suggestions for date night to save on costs. See if one of your friends wants to swap with y'all. One day they take your little ones one day you take their kids. If your tastebuds are feeling daring, sign up for a meal delivery kit and cook with one another. Get the little ones in bed and have date night at home. You can still get all dressed up but don't have to keep the heels on, sometimes bunny slippers feel better :) Great video glad to see you're back and feeling like yourself again :)
Love the swap idea!!! I've offered to sit at a friend's house, when kids are asleep, while the parents go out. It feels like a mini-vacation!! I bring a book, drink a hot drink... life is good! And love that idea for a meal delivery kit. What a fun idea!!
I loved your website story! I can relate... I'm working on a project, but I keep putting it off because it really doesn't have a hard deadline. Only one other person knows about it and I really need to give myself a due date on the calendar. I keep ignoring it and kind of forgetting about it. Glad I'm not alone!
Welll.... were basically the same person. 🤣 You would LOVE LOVE LOVE TAKING the Myers Briggs quiz! I’m an ENFP I’m sure you are too. This quiz tells you your entire life! Let me know what your results are! I’m a quality time and physical touch love language. I want hugs, cuddles, hand shakes and lays on the back. I tel you figuring out who you are helps me and hubby how to handle my mental health lol
I did take the Myers Briggs quiz! My husband made me take it a while ago, but I always have to ask him for my results HAHA! I'm border line on a few of the letters, I just can't remember which ones. HA! And SO TRUE!!! When you know how to more accurately describe your wants and feelings it helps everyone involved. There's a kid version of the 5 Love Languages - I'm tempted to have Elizabeth take it!!
You seriously just made my day... Everything you described, I completely relate. Especially the if I don't do it 100% correct right from the beginning then I might fail (and especially if others see me fail) so I just won't bother part. Missed your videos, glad to see you back, even if it's not January hahahaha, oh my goodness!
Ugh if I know others will see me fail - that's the WORST feeling!!! I struggle with that one so much. It's funny - I don't want people to see me as perfect. In fact I'd be really upset that I've portrayed myself that way! I want to come across as normal, a person that makes mistakes. But I hate to mess up! It's a weird combo.
